on the contrary, the majority of humans have done a poor job of living up to HIS expectations.

which isnt necessarily our fault because most humans do not understand him. therefore, if you are going to throw the blame on him, it is because he/it has not provided adequate information to us that will help the majority of us.

[this ignoring the fact of the bible's existance and possible relevance lol]

It would only be a reason if you think that is the fault of your God. Apart from that we could discuss if it's a good reason or not. If I look objectively I doubt if a God could be fired, or that we'd be better off without it. We don't know a lot about God (not even if it's actually real) so I don't see how we have to look objectively in order to conclude if we should fire God or not.

Am and how do u fire ur boss?
No man only thing u can do is quit but its a sin to do so never the less if u do that gods coworker will own ur ass for ever and i tell u what if u don't like god wait till u meet Satan.

And the worst part is u cant complain to the guy he is so high and mighty he does not speak to the common workers he just give commands and manuals to fallow. Yeah ok u have the suggestions box of praying but considering the infinite size of the universe and the insignificance of a single ground worker its probably just an illusion of good faith like a fake fire exit.

Seems to me its a stalemate lets just keep on trucking btw I will drive real good coz I have my eye set on the bonus I am sure I will be the first 1 to ever meet the criterias. And when I gate there it sure be cool to have the place all to myself well except for that incompetent boss of ours hey u know what I shall pass on the message about not liking him and all:nopity:

  7. Humans haven't ever really given God a chance. Immediately, if you're saying God failed, you're not being faithful. Maybe everything would be quite different if we learned to love and trust unconditionally.

 love and trust what? that there is some big man floating around in the sky, that controls us like puppets on a string? that we should just lay down for? and have all of this love and trust and loyalty for? really?:toetap05:

there is no 'god' to fire. there never was. there never will be. just like santa claus. and unicorns. and jesus was not magic. mary was not a virgin. hell only exists in your mind. no one parted the sea. water was not turned into wine. there is no heaven awaiting you...yeesh, i could go on for days.

Let me get this straight. I'm supposed to believe in a being that's existence isn't supported by empirical evidence e or rational reasoning and if I don't I get tortured for all eternity? I didn't choose to be skeptical of bullshit and I didn't choose to love truth and reason, why should I be condemned to hell? That's one fucked up little game and one fucked up bully of a deity.

it's because we don't "know" god exists, that we can trust it more then anything that we do.
what we really do need to "fire" is pretty much almost all of what we think we know ABOUT god. (or "god" or gods)
little furry invisible people are our friends. and big invisible people aren't our enemies either. but anything we pretend to know about them, is just pretty much our pretending to do so.

Completely agree with u any one claiming they know what god is or what he wants are BSing.

I think if u need to bieleif in somthing bigger than ur self it should be somthing personaly found and kept personal there's no point forcing an untestable claime on to others as the truth.

In this way all the spiritually hungry ppl would not be stuff up with lies and still be on a search, who knows some of those ppl could even find the real personal god and be happy and if they fail at least they would get all that spiritual knowledge accumulated from the search.

you know, all this god/spiritual stuff is actually your cerebral cortex at work.
thats a part of you brain that deals with higher levels of thinking ala gods and spirtual after life.

That may be, could this specific part of the brain be pre build by god in order to understand him or maybe it could be the link that connects the physical body and the soul...

I wonder for what purpose did evolutionary path grant us with cerebral cortex what i mean does it do anything ells but spiritual/higher level of thinking?

i'm a little rusty on parts of the brain, but i do believe the cerebral cortex also helps with conception and comprehension. its on the front of your brain/head. i think the very fact that we can conceive the existance of a higher being is proof that there may be some sort of designer. the cerebral cortex [to me] could be like the radio reciever for his measages, but we are not yet developed enough to understand what he is trying to say.

also, since the dawn of mankind our brains have been getting bigger and bigger, i believe the next step in human evolution is going to be brains getting bigger.

not only because of the information age that are we living in right now but because it is becoming necessary with the large amounts of flowing knowledge [internetz WOOT!].

i believe for him its like already knowing the end of a video game or movie but he wants [or maybe needs] to see how his character [the human race ?] levels up to the ultimate level. perfection, the finished product.

but this is just speculation so i still say he sucks because i technicly dont know squat and wont know until i die!.

I just check it out, well its seems that it does allot more than just spiritual thinking its the latest part of our brain quite literally its evolution of though its self.

And yeah u are wright its like the receiver not only that but its the broadcasting station its god or at least where it came from, it enlightens our thru primitive brain and makes as whole in to the modern human of today.

I wounder though knowing how powerful our minds are and taking in to consideration the infinite size of the universe that must contain shit lodes of intelligent species that most likely early on came to the same conclusion of some sort of god. Could all this wish full thinking conjure up an entity that possesses the property's of god in to reality?

Or could we or other species now or in the future produce such a powerful machine(AI) that would be able to contain all the data about the universe with in it self. And have swarms of nano bots that could rearrange physical matter, come to think about it nano bots can be programed to do just about anything that to a normal human would seem like magic.

It would be like an reincarnation of god would we call this AI god even though it did not create the universe rather haves the means to understand, rearranged, maintain or even possibly destroy the universe as it sees fit?
