weed or booze

I just tend to drink and smoke all day... So it's hard to tell...
But im a 40oz drinker, and those don't really get you "Wasted" Just nicely buzzed...
However, IF I HAD to pick one, it would hands down be me, I mean weed...

I like drinking a lot, but I have a drinking problem so I try not to drink.. beer is just too good to resist sometimes though and then when I really think about it I like a lot of liqour too. However a chemical like ecstasy has potential for being neurotoxic, cannabis does not and alcohol is straight up toxic and cannabis is not. So I go with the healthy choice... and I've always enjoyed herb more than alcohol.

When I'm stoned I don't forget my problems, but after a few drinks I def. do.

 

You can get trashed off of 40's man, come to think of it the last time I was really drunk was after drinkin 40's.

 

Stoner Bill, i definitely agree with you on the "nice drunk"/"nasty drunk" thing.

Alcohol tends to bring out the best in me and a lot of people I know. It really does increase the love. But unfortunately the people I know are a handful of intelligent, open minded, free willed and self controlled folks who simply by using their brains on a minutely basis have developed a temperament which can only be improved by alcohol.
In fact I think most people are balanced enough to be able to enjoy the benefits of alcohol without becoming violent drooling idiots. Unfortunately you have the small handful of egotistical TV suckling alpha males which basically get in everyone's face and ruin it for eveyone. I was working overnight before christmas and sitting out the front having a smoke when I saw a buch of drunk dudes from my school, they were the popular sporty types who noone really liked after we all graduated. They were pegging huge bread crates as far as they could down the mall, I could see what was going to happen straight away. One of them overcompensated and hit his mate square in the face from a distance of about 4 metres. The guy fell over and blacked out for a second and had blood gushing out his head. It was funny.

I'd still pick alcohol over weed. Depending on what mood i'm in I get really philisophical on weed and tend to start pondering the nature of my existence, which is bad because the people I smoke weed with would rather talk about heavy metal and the family guy and wouldn't know the first thing about existential confusion. Shit. I used to drink 5 40oz Colt 45's in a row in less than 3 hours. I ALWAYS got wasted. I guess it depends on how you drink them though.

I thought I was posting in this thread, but I was really posting in the one about which is more dangerous, so my answer ended up being almost entirely off-topic. And THAT kids is why marijuana is obviously the devil's weed. In all seriousness weed's hands down a superior substance. I think that's been beaten to death. But there's something about that complete lack of awareness or thought or ability to feel your face that is so beautiful about the drunk experience. Another great thing about alcohol, is I spend the entire time convinced that I'm "just a little tipsy". I enjoy hearing my friends retell stories about me wandering around pantsless, and I still think it's funny because my memory of the night is obliterated. There is something unique and wonderful about the debauchery and complete lack of civilized or intelligent behavior I proudly display while wasted. It's the American way for god's sakes.. Bottom line, I like to get fucked up just to get real fucked up so alcohol is my favorite, even though it is an awful toxic substance that brings out the absolute worst in me. Alcohol's still my preference even though I must get high 50 times more often than I get trashed. That level of fucked-upness should only be reached occaisionally or shit starts to get bad. The end.

 

On the topic of 40oz. I have a really bad reaction to drinking beer. I can just drink one normal sized can and I will puke my guts out, but this is the same girl who can take shot after shot of liquor all night and have no problems. And the weirdest thing is it's a recent development, I quit drinking for a couple months then started back unable to drink beer without immediately vomiting. It's very strange, but not that dissapointing. Beer isn't my cup of tea anyway. I'd rather drink something strong and get it over with.

 

for sure, im not a beer fan unless im at a pub, otherwise you gotta go straight for the hard booze. in the end its much nicer on my body, because you can then drink heaps of water, and still get very drunk, but not have any sorta hangover the next day w00t.

Yeah it's a huge glass bottle. If you've ever seen the movie Boyz In The Hood or a rap video, you prolly know what it looks like. I have drank many a 40oz and they are definitely the way to go when drinking beer or malt liquor.

Too bad. They're much more convenient. There is something special about drinking longnecks. The funnest thing to drink is the 22oz though. We call them deuce-deuces here.
