Wasn't crazy about this season but the finale was pretty damn good and quite the cliffhanger as usual. I never pictured the end of season 6 being the end of weeds but now that you mention it that would've been pretty good.
It's not over yet! Season 8! July 1st! penned as the Final Season! and it seems Little Boxes is coming back! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LpH6_JpILdw"]Weeds Season 8: Writer's Room Tease - YouTube
Eh, I am sort of over that show. It has run it's course. I do not think the creator has ever even smoked, apprently none of the cast does, even though they are constantly offerd free drugs by fans. The show has really gone to crap the past few seasons.
I know if I was famous... I would not smoke with any random dude asking to get me high.. imagine that any of them cast members get asked by 1000s of folks a year.. who only knows what they rolled up in there.. from just shitty weed.. to it being wet... or not even being weed but rather that fake spice shit.. they'd probably rather go home.. chill with a couple peeps and toke the best ganj money can buy.. though I do know for a fact Kevin Nealon does NOT smoke.. He's mentioned it in his standup
My spidey sense is tingling. I have heard the actors say they do not and it's annoying because people expect them be like their characters, and the creator I just gather from interviews. Maybe I am wrong, but I can't imagine the women actually smoking. She just seems so uptight and nerdy to me. Plus on the show, they don't know how things work. IE. She buys "bricks" of high quality weed no weight is mentioned. The only brick weed I know of is Mexican dirt weed. They have no concept on the amount of hash that can be made from trimmings. A stoner would know these things. It looks like she read what pot was like in a book and decided to write a show about it.
Yeah I was pretty pissed off when I found out Jamie Foxx was not actually Ray Charles.. or when Robin Williams wasn't really Peter Pan
Most actors who play a famous role well have that problem. People see them as what they play. Means they did their job well I suppose.
