i woke up this morning sitting half up right with my index finger moving, i was in a dream rubbing some girls clit. and i woke up from the vivid dream instantly not knowing where or what the fuck was happening. fuckin hell was weird.

i think this is the main point that you and i disagree on. the truth is absolutely unmistakeable, you either know it or you don't. there is no middle ground, and there are no mistakes to be made.

besides, what are all these experiences that you keep on talking about that i couldn't have possibly experienced? lets get some specific examples.

 

Sometimes the situation just calls for it. I have very little patience or tolerance for people who make statements such as PeterPopper does when there is factual evidence to the contrary. Add to that the fact that when presented with the facts his response is "eat shit"
People like him scare me because they are so unaware of the limitations of thier own knowledge and refuse to research anything to get the true facts on a topic.

 

What truth ? Truth to you is different than truth to a Muslim, and that is different than what a Christian views as the truth. An atheist will have yet another concept of what is truth, as would an agnostic, strict scientist, ect,ect.

Why is the "truth" that you personaly subscribe to the ultimate "truth"? Fact is NONE of us know or will know until we die and move on, assuming that there is somewhere to move on to.
I accept the fact that I don't know for a certainty that what I believe is the ultimate truth, do you?
There are commonalities in thought and ideas in all belief systems, that is just part and parcel of the human condition.
When I consider other world views and religions, the similarities are not what I focus on, I look at the fundamental differences between them. The differences are more revealing than the similarities.
Frankly I feel that a lot of what is presented as spiritual events and experiences are really still just functions of the mind/brain. Did you ever check those links about inducing mystical experiences in the lab ?
Just Google "Michael Persinger" and you'll come up with a lot of info. I strongly suggest checking it out. It really does cause one to reevaluate thier thoughts on mystical experiences.

knowing god isn't an experience brought about through any kind of medium. like chritianity, or moslem, or judaism, or even eastern religion. knowing god is a direct personal experience undefined on this earth. the moment you start thinking this is impossible is the moment that you begin to lose touch.
