I just saw La Danza de la Realidad by Jodorowsky in the theater a couple weeks ago. It was good, but not my favorite. I still prefer both El Topo and The Holy Mountain. I, too, keep neglecting to watch Santa Sangre. I have seen bits of Fando y Lis but can never make myself watch the whole thing. His work seems to be a mixed bag. Fantastic Planet is pretty good. I really liked Decasia. It comprises clips of old films in various states of decay assembled into a sort of collage and backed by an original, slightly discordant score. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jeEzb-0vf7A Another good one is Sans Soleil, by Chris Marker. It's a pretty unique film. The closest I can come to forcing it into a genre is to call it a documentary - after all, it presents candid film of things that have really taken place. Yet the narration is an unknown voice apparently reading from letters from an unknown person, and the images come primarily from two very different cultures: Japan (primarily) and a small African country called Guinea-Bissau. There is also a short clip from Iceland. The narration only goes so far in terms of explaining the images shown, and is often more poetic in nature (though not in form) than actually explanatory. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pBIubMBwj6M https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qJqPo4LmLx8 Eraserhead is a masterpiece of horror, and one of the only films that legitimately frightens me (or at the very least puts me rather on edge) And then, of course, there's 2001: A Space Odyssey and Dr. Strangelove or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb. They're both rather odd, but with the exception of the ending of 2001 I couldn't say either one really gets to the same depth of oddness that the other above films approach.
Fucked up movie, but campy fun :2thumbsup: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ftt0W4IyUQw"]Horrible Death Scene from The Lair of the White Worm - YouTube Hotwater

Phase IV.. The first film to show "crop circles" created by super smart ants. the movie is kinda stupid.
Another twist on the Mary Shelley Frankenstein legend, Although the guy looks more like Dr. Giggles than Dr. Frankenstein Hotwater
Bad Boy Bubby https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YXZ4u2ZVWOc"]Bad Boy Bubby Trailer - YouTube About a guy trapped at home for 30 years, tricked by his mother that the air outside is poisonous...really bizarre with some horribly shocking incest scenes and gut wrenching cat torture...besides that the story is actually pretty inspiring! lol Even fucked up people can sometimes find their niche in life.
Botched. It's about some bank job gone wrong and the offenders end up hiding on a floor of a building with hostages and they all get wiped out by a random Russian Viking and I think tentacles and just it's fucking stupid and makes no sense. I've seen it twice and was left like "..the fuck" both times.
About a girl with a set of teeth in her pussy! Spoiler; In the end she lets her cruel twisted-ass brother fuck her, bites off his cock, and then his Rottie eats the severed member after she lets it drop out on the floor. Damned funny movie! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yH8yuld4DUE"]TEETH - OFFICIAL TRAILER - YouTube
I've seen one where this chick had a demon in her tongue and her tongue would stretch out and she often licked herself out. I think she cut the tongue off in the end.
Now this movie has a bit more class than your average weird movie. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N6XCT7iKL14"]TRASH HUMPERS - SYDNEY UNDERGROUND FILM FESTIVAL 2010 - YouTube Hotwater
the less there is anything human, or resembling familiar everyday life, the more i like it. usually anyway. i guess i'm the reverse of most people who want to see humans or something familiar involved. there was something that was actually a series on canadian and german television, or so i've been told. hard to imagine it would be shown in the u.s., called LEXX that was about a living ship that was "the most destructive force in the two universes". actually kind of fun. expecially the naughty bits. it did have humans. sort of. really crazy messed up ones. sort of. there are a bunch of things by suriealist french animators i like. and then of course all the furry ones. but there especially the absence of humans the better. somewhere i do have a list if i remember to dig it out. no longer current. all those nimh and fern gully type things i like. there was kinski's cat people, which is probably more like what your looking for. and the 80s remake of monster from the black lagoon, where the girl gets raped, (or is it loved?) by a this bunch of wet seaweed, is pretty much the only thing interesting that happens in the whole movie. there's classics like killer klowns from outer space. and other campy type stuff. well dark crystal, barbarella, and the origeonal fantasia are probably still my three favorite movies. there's the ice age series. minus the first one. as always, there's a bunch of things i can't remember the names of. mononoke hime was good. and howl's castle. and legends of the dragon kings. well anime in general. oh i know another good one. there's a move version of the airtight garage. the one where some egyptian god from outerspace makes this guy an iron leg.
