Finally finished all the assignments that I needed to do. Although it's too late to hand them in today. Am going to have to wait until Monday :/ But at least it's one thing off my chest.

Just found this transcript of a radio interview/discussion. Talks a lot about Kuranda, a real hippie type place (Although it's starting to turn more into an expensive tourist place), which is only about an hours drive from me. A lovely town, and set in the most beautiful area though.
It's an interesting read, about when all the hippies flocked into north Queensland and into places like this.

My first draft in in for Monday and I've only got 1700 words ><

Got an interview with marketing people to talk about my course, and it's going to be filmed. I'm having trouble thinking of answers to "why do you think bucks is so great?!" I think the uni is shit ¬¬

Yay-yeah!! Midgard I love this. Olive oil on the skin, I've been doing that the past few years as well, works wonders and smells nice.
Have you heard of Jeanne Calment? The woman who died at 122? Her story is a really interesting read. She attributed part of her longevity to using olive oil for absolutely everything- including her skin.

Nearly had a heart attack when I found out that my favourite piercer+tatooist (the only one I trust in wycombe) doesn't work at the shop anymore!!! But thankfully I talked to some peoples and they told me where he is now, only down the road! So going to get more metal bits in me next weekend <3 There's 4 tattooists within 100 meters of each other. No jokes. Two of those are connected kinda, but still!

I had managed to keep my email as a secret from my assistantship students for almost 3 years, and yesterday I made the mistake of sending them some class material. My account is now full of mails asking for help on their papers and questions for the test :dizzy2:

I am getting ready to go outside and fire up the firepit and cook some chili beans in the dutch oven. It is a good cold evening in NC to eat some chili beans.

Just back from seeing Ross Noble. My cheeks hurt from laughing. Shame about the terrible heckling, why do some people feel the need to shout rubbish to interrupt the show?

Florence and the machine are great!

Ross Noble is great! (I've also seen him live, was hillarious!)

And finally, camp oven cooking is great!
Glen has a very valid point though ;)
