Got a 2nd (8 hour) interview for mystery job #2, turns out it's surveying properties for grant eligibility under the gov's "tax the fuck out of corporations to pay for insulation and pointless PV installations" scheme.

£15k basic + bonus for each successfully survey.

 

Spoke to Amazon they're gonna send me a replacement, though they're out of stock and I have to wait 2-5 weeks. Not sure if I believe them

Was one of the girls birthdays yesterday so we chilled outside again last night and had a few drinks. Then made the best cubby houses in one of the rooms!

today i have a job interview in another city.

 

Went for an 8 hour job interview, turned down the job as it was becoming increasingly apparent it was basically door to door sales and I didn't for a second believe the alleged career progression or that I was in anyway going to be fast tracked into management.

Then when I was driving the van home I noticed I had some yellow notice placed very discreetly under the passenger side wiper, only to have it blow off while driving. Ive got the little slip to say I've paid so they can fuck right off if they think they are getting any money out of me.

 

Ah, but did you display the ticket (and no other tickets) in a clear and readable position? If not prepare to be gang raped by the council

 

Ticket was on the dash, they can send me a fucking photograph if they want me to pay up.

I'm pretty sure it was privately owned anyway. (i.e. falls under contract law)

 

I am cold and tired, all I want to do is crawl under my warm blanket. and fall asleep

 

Had my last day at school [yesterday now] and it was great Had quite a lot of fun actually.

 

Got into major trouble with my bank and kept going overdrawn. Turns out they've been charging me four times as much overdraft interest without telling me because they'd been sending all correspondence letters to my old address and fobbing me off with
"sorry you won't get letters anymore, we're all about online correspondence and you're not banking online so that's your fault." When I've tried to query it.

Anyway, they've sorted that out and also they've now realised that when I signed up for my student account and my HUGE overdraft, I didn't actually know what I was signing up for so they've wiped off my overdraft and refunded me over three hundred quid as well as a fifty quid "we're sorry" cheque.
