    Not fair, right?

But seriously. Got an interview on 23rd, but I'm worried they won't like the dreads... Most jobs that are around right now require a car, so I'm pretty screwed.

127 hours is cool to watch (loved the rocks!) and I'm impressed that he made it out (I wouldn't...), but I don't think he should get famous for basically being an idiot in the first place :p

it may not be fair, but at least we're proof that people in this country can get off their arse and do work, instead of claiming dole :)

i tend to tie my dreads back for interviews, they look just like 'normal' hair in a ponytail.. may be an idea?

i also need a car.. could have even more jobs then ;)

Yeah, I always tie mine back for interviews. Well, if I manage to get a job I'll join you in being the proof... Right now I have no job and am not claiming anything either. So basically I'm going to die when my savings run out. Not really extremely excited about it.

I need a driving licence before getting a car. But I need a job to have money to get the licence...

Same, I can't drive. As in AT ALL. So I'll need a lot of lessons and it'll be expensive :( If I were at home my dad would teach me, but here there's no-one.

    'Tis the sad sad truth.

There is a hell of a lot of difference between a job and gainful employment. I doubt the government could give a fuck because we aren't another unemployment statistic, but when your 27, working 3 jobs and still can't afford to move out your parents house there is something very wrong with the nation.

NB, I could afford to move out were any of my jobs more secure than "keep turning up till we tell you to fuck off" but you know, you've got to make it easy for employers to hire (and subsequently fire) people otherwise business doesn't bother making any money or something like that.

Yeah, I'm looking everywhere. Will also go to the JobCentre this week once I'm back home.

Cheers for that - I'd love to just get it done! At the moment though I really can't afford it at all, so it has to wait. It just annoys me so much when I find a job which I could fit around my degree and which I'm otherwise qualified for and I can't get because I can't drive.

Not much really. Was off work today, woke up at 11am, cleaned the house, then went to see my bro. Now he is over playing COD: BO. Just finished a blunt. Not too bad of a day really. Started off bad but ended nicely. :)

Just An Average Mid Winters Day Here, Only Thing Of Note Was That On Today,

The 11th, My Dreads Are 23 Months Old...:2thumbsup:.

People Are Always Saying How Nowdays Time Flys, But Honestly It Seems Like No More

    Than Twelve Months Ago.

When I Started I Said I Would Give It Two Years, And Then I Would Review

Wether I Wanted To Keep Them, Or Cut.

Today I Have Decided To Defer That Decision For Another Year *or two*...[IMG].

    Cheers Glen.

Lucky you. :p It's been in the 100's here and extremely humid. Heat index being absolutely ridiculous. We don't really have a good winter here. Most of the time you can go out wearing a thin long sleeve short or light jacket. Winter is my favorite time of the month. Even though we don't get snow or temps much lower than 30 degrees Fahrenheit it's a very welcome break from the heat. We also do not have a spring or fall. It's either 'winter' or summer. lol
