hell yeah they do. She tried to give me buspar last month and it made me fall asleep. I went off all the crap she put me last month on and just stayed on my celexa and xanax. She was puzzeled today as why I tappered myself off.
I spent the day with Jack. We had breakfast (cereal, toast and juice) and watched The Simpsons. I was trying to make him grilled cheese for lunch, but he wanted Mac & Cheese. After lunch he had to nap, and when he finally fell asleep I did the dishes, put away the laundry, did some more laundry. Took a shower and wore my kurti that John got me, it's my new favorite shirt. Jack didnt sleep much longer so when I came down, we had yogurt for snack. I fixed our Christmas tree for the second time, because he and the cat kept going all crazy with it. Then John came home, he put up a blind in the kitchen , and got two magazines (Brain and Mad, haha MAD BRAIN), I read Mad, he's reading Brain, but I REALLY want to read it. Specially when the article about autism, I've always had a lot of interest in that. We eat pizza. It was really yummy. Then I played school with Jack. He has this toy school bus with little people inside. He also put a Christmas Spongebob that John got for him in there. I made him drive all the way to school, park and all the kids 'and him got out and sat in the "classroom". I was the teacher and I was teaching him Spanish with this book I got him awhile back. His pronuciantion is excellent, I would give him a high five after every new word, the only problem is with his attention. He wants to play school, but he also wants to run around to the kitchen and the stairs while he pretends to be an airplane. After that we were reading together for a bit. Now he's laying down I read him his car books and he should be asleep anytime soon (hopefully).
I also got a present for Jack online. It's this electronic writing pad. I think it should be fun for him to learn how to write and it'll help us teach him I also got John a Mad magazine book, besides his other books that I had already got for him. And Im now looking for presents for his mom, his brother and sister and Jack's mom. I think I know what to get everybody except John's brother. I dont know what to buy to a 8-9 year old, I forget how old he is. I mean I know, but Im buying everybody cheap, but nice presents that dont look so cheap haha, so with him Im kinda clueless.
I love that electric writing pad, that's cute... Haha, I even want one.. Meh, you know those days that are just blah and you get bad news after bad news, but then at the end of the day you are just really relieved that it's almost over and that tomorrow is a new day... and I'm watching this weird thing on Animal Planet and it's scaring me..
I woke up early and went grocery shopping. I then went home and cleaned the kitchen. I started fixing the cookies for the party first (chocolate chip with pecans) I made three and a half dozen. While the second batch was cooking I started browning the ground beef for the baked beans. I was able to put the baked beans in after taking the cookies out, cleaned the pan and put the green beans on. I then had a moment of thinking about Fitzy because...dun...dun...dun I got the bacon out to cook to top the beans with. haha Be happy I thought about you. Finally I was finished with cooking, so I fed the dogs and washed dishes AGAIN. I showered, got ready for the party, put the cats up and loaded the car down with gifts and food. When I made it to my gramps' we all started talking about what was going on in each of our lives....made fun of each other, ate, opened gifts, ate again...then we sat and talked before cleaning up and leaving. Man am I tired. I washed dishes three freaking times today.
Haha I know, it's so cool. I wanted to get him for him in October for his Bday, but instead I ended up getting him this kid's laptop from Vtech too. I like getting him things that he can play with and learn at the same time. It's cool to see him play with his laptop, because it's designed from age 2-7 so it has a bunch of activities that it's no way he knows it, but I remember when he first got it the voice would be "ohh oh, try again". Over and over and now I hear a lot "great job" And I know about those days, well let's be happy that it's done and that tomorrow is better.
Just the gifts from my extended family. My grandparents always spend Christmas up at their time share so we have to exchange gifts early. The are leaving tomorrow and will be gone for a week at least.
Jack likes it, but it's still figuring it out. He sometimes gets more entertained pushing the button that makes the monkey sounds over and over and over again. But who doesnt love monkeys? How old is Skyer?
Hahaha I wasn't dreaming. When I got the bacon out of the fridge I thought about your bacon obsession, and then I forgot you when I started cooking. The job market at the moment is unfair.
Oh, where are they going? My dad owns a timeshare company and I used to work for him when I lived in Santo Domingo, people would start making their reservations for December in March, by September the hotels were usually full. It was crazy dealing with the angry people.
