Brian Aldiss - Helliconia Summer Stephen King - The Dark Tower Bill Bryson - Notes from a small island Hmm, glad you mentioned that Ny, I might not get made in america now.. or I'll just have a flick through in the bookshop
It's well worth a read especially if you've read and know anything about Kerouac, Cassady and Kesey. It's a really good book.
The God Delusion - Richard Dawkins (always fancied reading it) and re-reading the Edge Chronicles - Paul Stewart & Chris Riddle (pretty cool fantasy books)
AS religious studies for edexcel by Sarah K Tyler and Gordon Reid. It's that or the puzzle of ethics by Peter Vardy. Vardy was also the creator of the peasant girl and the king analogy which I think is supposed to be used with evil and suffering but I haven't got a bloody clue.
Chronicles vol 1 by Bob Dylan. I got chatting to this cute Lithuanian waitress at a seafront caff yesterday who wondered what I was reading. Turned out she never heard of Bob Dylan. I felt totally primeval and at a complete loss for words.
Needle In The Groove by Jeff Noon (thinking now that I should have read this before Falling Out of Cars)
