re-reading 'eye of the world' by robert jordan right now, also in the middle of 'damming the flood' by peter hallward. i usually like to have one fiction and one non-fiction book going at the same time, otherwise i get bored with what i'm reading too easily.

    El Palestino by Antonio Salas.

This is a journalist who "infiltrates" terrorist organizations.

Hard to read. Partly quite informative.

    Scar Tissue

It's the autobiography of Anthony Kiedis, the Red Hot Chili Peppers lead singer. Interesting stories and early life he had, I don't find myself relating all too much to it though and I've just got to the beginning of the formation of the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

    Good morning,

just for the kicks I'm rereading 'Fortran 90 for engineers and scientists' ;). Oh, and there is 'Mein Sommer 1805', written by Seume. It's about Seume's journey to the Baltic States and Russia in 1805. It's more or less a sequel of his journey to Italy three years before, which is a great read.

    Regards
    Gyro

    Hi,

I guess you refer to the Fortran book here? It's easy to read (well, at least if you are an engineer or if you are otherwise retarded ;)) and it has all the examples in it that are needed to torture students ;).

Oh, and Seume saw a lot of the world for a man of his time. He was snatched away in Germany, sold to the Brits and then shipped into the US to fight in the War of Indepence ;).

    Regards
    Gyro

Picked up 6 Louis L'Amour westerns at Goodwill. Partial to westerns as both sides of my family came west on covered wagons in the 1800s about the time of the gold rush. Easy reads--4-5 hours tops for each.
