  4. I would like some update on the pizza thing.
    Still got that cold btw?

Also, I read that for the first time ever AfD surpassed the Social Democrats in a poll.
    I thought that was interesting.

Curiously in dutch the word gerecht also means dish. But also court/justice (gerechtigheid)

  6. Gerechtigkeit is justice in German.

    Gerecht is righteous, just...an adjective.

Gericht is court. And also dish lol.

    Aren't languages fun.

  7. A lot of similar words there.
I wonder how difficult it'd be to learn Dutch, to a person who knows German.
Not that it greatly interests me.

    But Dutch pronunciation....oy vey

Where do you here this pronunctiation? The ones I hear in american media come close to someone having a stroke but they're always way off. For instance with the double oo thing. It doesn't sound like in english you dumbfucks!

About learning it if you already you know german: the basics would be easy because of all the similarities, but the details of grammar suck as they often differ. If you know the correct pronunctiation in german you're already halfway.

  10. I'm just messing with you, comrade.
I am not too familiar with your language.

But as I understood, it kind of sounds like Swiss German, as in they are both very guttural.
Swiss German lol…ain't nobody got time for that.

And I guess if I wanted to learn a new language, I'd go a bit exotic, something with a new alphabet. YOLO

I was not offended in any way but i do get annoyed when they try to make fun of dutch language on american tv and it sounds nothing like it. Now.. if that was consciously the joke I would be ok with it (funny or not). But I get the impression they think we really sound like that. While they obviously do it from text and read it the english way.

Uhm, the dutch are known for speaking english without noticable accent. Germans usually sound much weirder. And are known for it

Pizza worked. It was different, I had to use a fry pan with a lid and then navigate the heat so the top would melt but the bottom not burn. It ended up pretty good and I'll definitely be doing it again. I still have my cold though i think I'm getting over it my wife surely isn't getting over hers.

I took some mdma tonight and it took HOURS to kick in. :( and by the time it did I was in bed and then like, wait for it.. It's here! I'm up!

I'm hoping my throat pain is just me talking too much lol. Security came and told this other camp to be quiet. Lol. My tent is pumping out some Rob Zombie. Soooo sexy on the right stuff.

I once dated a guy whose dad was dutch. He had a very thick accent but I liked it. He would get very worked up about american politics and would drink and smoke like a chimney and yell in his thick accent about politics, then bang his hand on the table in anger and cigarette ashes would fly everywhere

    What a good ol' Dutchie
The one thing I miss about that guy, his family

Took a bike ride then spent all day trying to fix my bike stand so I can adjust the derailleurs.

I think I finally got it.
    Now...to adjust.

I watch a Danish girl on youtube. She's come a long way with her English but you can definitely say she speaks English with a Danish accent.
