it will, if not sooner. more people need to swim. or bike, but only if you can do it without blocking traffic.

Gonna have a sammich in my cheers bar restaurant.

This place totally has a Portland vibe in this small town I inhabit. No wonder I like it here.

    Except for breast stroke.

My wife was on swim teams from grade school through high school...doing the breast stroke.
She now has two new knees, doc said the breast stroke is hell on knees.

You’d be rather disappointed at the REAL Cheers bar in Boston it’s just a tourist trap

    I'm so glad you're back.

Anyway, I went through a brief period of loving gangsta shit back in the 90s--prolly like 95-96, so it was a small window (I outgrew it quickly)--so I am curious as to what, specifically, you are listening to.

Cut the grass, weed whipped, barbecued rib eyes for the family for dinner, then had s'mores by the firepit, just a bit ago. I'm smoked!

for no known reason, the it just poped into my head to think about a turkey dinner, home made, with lots of bread stuffing and that kind of gravey that is made with cream of mushroom soup and kitchen boquet and some of the drippings. yams with butter and brown sugar, and the kind of cranberry sauce that comes in the can completely jellied with no whole cranberries in it.

oddly enough a kind of macaroni salad would go with it, though there might be green beans too.
and of course a pumpking pie with lot of super think whipping cream on it. as much as there is pie.

no idea why i would think of this just now. oddly enough i haven't had any pumpkin anything yet this year either.

Down in "Cholo" Vista with the soon-to-be fam: Soon-to-be missus, soon-to-be bro and sis in-law and soon-to-be nephew (who I've considered "my" nephew for years now). Going to take the little guy out tomorrow trick-or-treating.

Supposed to take him today as well but he wasn't interested. I'm like, "Dude, free chocolate..."

You know what I would give to get chocolate just for knocking on a stranger's door?

out of curiosity, do you know what exactly went wrong with her knees? i can see where breaststroke puts pressure on the inside of the knees, where it's not really natural. but i have no idea what the actual damage would be.

    She left us?

Guess I’ve been so busy with buying a 3D printer and multi-tasking with life that I’m missing out on important events.

    Welcome back Meliai

waiting for my daughter overalls to finish washing.....
first I had to bleach them, took a couple hours because didn't have enough bleach, had to let them soak and stir, rearrange them until they were no longer blue....
then had to dye them in the washer, she is dressing up like a pig and wanted them piggy pink, that took about another hour
now I'm washing them and then into the dryer and then a wash cycle to get the dye out of the machine...

and all that after getting off at 5, waiting an hour and fifteen minutes to get picked up to go home, made two dinners, stroganoff for everyone else and then some mexican kinda stuff for me (gluten free)
then did the dishes and then was asked to dye overalls because she wants to wear them tomorrow for a party.....

I really wanted to be asleep about 3 hours ago...
only slept about 2-3 hours last night because my jacked-up nerves in my arm had me up most of the night in some rather excruciating pain, guess the extra physical work at the new job is causing it to act up. bad enough whenever my fingers are numb, but do they have to feel like they are on fire, stabbed, broken and pretty much every pain sensation when I'm trying to sleep!?
I hope I can sleep tonight, gotta be at work by 9am, but I have my doubts......:(

but I haven't had drop of booze to drink...:)
