Thinking about how much I miss reading when I'm away. Since the new system, I only get one notice saying this thread has been updated by this person and maybe others, instead of seeing all "the others" like the last system. I kinda miss that because it tells me how often to check in to keep up. I guess I should just check this thread more regularly.

Got back home from my Portland “vacation.”

I would hardly call it a vacation though, because that city is no longer a part of my life that I am happy to leave behind for many reasons.
