i ran out of the cheap stuff so rather than go out to the store, i decided to not get dressed and stay in. so i went to my bar and picked out the Schlafly Reserve 2008 Imperial Stout. i have been aging this thing for 3 years and it was at least a year old when i got it so it was kind of a big deal when i cracked it open. i always thought i would wait for a special occasion but what is more special than "i am alive today and might not be tomorrow" i wont say its worth a 3 year wait but i will say its a damn good beer.
