what are you drinking tonight?

I've been liking pinot varietals lately. As far as beers-Lone Star is my fav. Of course a tequilla is always nice.... as is a good vodka tonic. Now thats some good "thirsty" talk!

 

Whatever Im drinking tonight, doesnt matter, just as long as I drink a lot of it.

 

Just don't drink a lot of grain alcohol, ok?

peach mead? i've not had mead, but my dad brewed some a few years back and loved it. i saw a bottle for sale at the store today, but it was a bit pricier than i was looking for. i'd like to try mead for myself soon, though.

anyway i'm drinking beer tonight, though i had a nice mini vodka martini as an aperitif before dinner.

right now i'm drinking monchshof kellerbrau, my first exposure to this style of lager. i've got to say i love it! i'm also going to have a bottle of monchshof schwarz, which i've also been wanting to try. also i've got a bottle of wittekerk, which isn't my favorite but i do enjoy a good deal.

i'm excited about the schwarzbier, the only beer i've had in that style is samuel adam's black lager, which i enjoy quite a lot but dont really trust to be very true to the style. sam adams is good, but kind of hit and miss at times. i'll be anxious to see how a german schwarzbier compares to boston beer's take on it.

eh, I was getting too much of a bad name for myself in certain areas, I sort of started coming off as a jerk, plus I started over on the Bhakti yoga path, I found my old copy of Bhagavad Gita and decided to fall in love again Im trying, but I cant seem to give up the drinking so easily, or at least, drinking void of devotion

 

i had a Ridge Runner from Rock Art brewery in Vt

and then i had a pint of Switchback

2 beers...not the best out there, but pretty solid drinkable beers
