    Best way to lose weight is to consume 6 - 8 small meals a day. One meal every 2 - 3 hours

    Keep that metabolism going

    lol I knew a guy who did that. Lost whatever muscle mass he had and then was stuck being skinny fat for a long time

    today I listened to bikinin kill and L7. then had the band over for drinks. wrote a song about aborted babies. it is fucking rad, I'm so excited about this band. I love when you have something in your head and it comes out fucking perfectly. I was so excited all day I forgot to eat till just then when I made some delish spinach dish nomnomnom

    I remember once me and jesus forgot to eat. we were on a peace march on jupiter and these monkeys were strung out on meth, but when we started playing our harps they turned into unicorns...

    Like he kept his squish, but lost all his muscles?

    That bites the dust.

    I was watching some crap on TV, and there was this four year old who weighed....over 150 pounds. He was giant...
    and the ma was like 'Its not what I feed him! The doctor even said I needed to feed him more!!'
    I wanted to jump into the television and explain to her (300lb+ herself) that the nutritionist probably meant eat more healthy foods several times a day, every few hours, for that whole metabolism business, but she held onto the phrase 'feed him more' and that is what she did.
    I hate seeing fat kids....When they are young enough to not know any better. I mean, for a 4 year old? That is all on the ma.

    (She made doctors do 435689348 tests on him to make sure it wasn't her fault, but there wasn't anything different about him.. )

    yeah. "skinny fat" is a term people use in bodybuilding to describe someone who is really skinny, but doesnt have an ounce of muscle on him or any muscle definition

    I may walk 50 miles a week but they're at snails pace walking, I can't walk very fast. Eating a 1000 calories a day, it's not a long term thing, just until I can get a BMI of 24 (currently 26). I eat a small meal whenever I'm hungry so I never feel like I'm starving myself. :)

    eating well below your BMR = bad

    you'd prolly lose weight faster eating your BMR and continuing to exercise

    I've used half a tube of paint to paint a canvas dark green, for some reason this has made me extraordinarily happy.

    What's BMR? I probably would lose weight faster but this way I'm losing 1lb a week anyway and I don't want to lose more than that for fear of saggy skin. I tend to lose weight VERY quickly.

    Your BMR is your basal metabolic rate. It's the energy you would consume doing nothing but breathing for 24 hours.

    Basal metabolic rate, it's how many calories you use just sitting around doing nothing. It's probably in the region of 1500-2000 kcal / day, there are plenty of calculators on teh tinternets.

    I should've known that, I did about that kinda stuff last year at uni but I didn't get it. Ok so my bmr is 1425. I'm consuming only 400 less.

    1400 is quite a lot if you use it well. E.g. you can have the sensation of eating really quite a lot, with the knowledge that if you do nothing but get up to have a piss every 2 hours you will technically be burning more energy than you're consuming and eventually lose weight. It's good.
