What are you/have you been doing today?

Well right now its three in the morning so i am on HF i will go to bed in a bit then wake up and most likely be back here.

meeting with a photographer tomorrow then perhaps biking trails with my friend stephen.. then swimming and chiiilling

 

i almost died yesterday of heatstroke. um, i spilled brown sugar into the burner on my stove. and i drank rubbing alcohol thinking it was antacid. so, yeah. i almost died yesterday.

 

Wow Vig! That's naaaasty. It's not my day today. Had to turn down the perfect job. The starting salary was too low and it was too far to travel on public transport. Gutted.

 

Um... I think I'm back. I mean.. we drove home yesterday, but I think I left my brain/mind in the forests of Shambahla. My body and mind both ache but I was able to fully fill my spirit... And I mean that! I have been missing my community so much and it was great to dance for... uh.... I'm guess 25 hours in two days....

My muscles and joints ache.... lol I have a giant bruise from hooping.

I got to meet two beautiful ladies from HF. I wish I could have found them later on as I only was able to visit quickly on Friday. I was whacked when I met them so although the visits seemed normal to me... will be curious to see if I was behaving in a "normal" fashion at the time. lol lol Oh, and I met someone's hubby.... he's a cutie!!!

I saw breasts and penises, couples having sex, the best fashion show ever, some of the greatest dancers, I got some new pieces of clothing, saw amazing artwork, hundreds of dreadheads and beautiful ppl. I met some great ppl who I will remember always. I got to visit and party with friends I hadn't seen in over 5 years.

I LOVE GETTING FREAKY!!!!!

Best musical moment - seeing Eoto twice and I also really enjoyed Wassabi Collective (damn I wish they had a second set).

I got lost in the forest that is lit up at night for three hours on the Friday... It was mostly fun!!! I was tripping hard and there were too many things to see, including four ppl dressed in glow in the dark transformer costumes!!! EEeeeereK!

Will I go back?

Reality sat in as I entered a fast food restaurant to use the washroom at our first stop off of the festival... one door was dropped in my face and two ppl didn't say thank you for holding it. I wanna live in the forest of Shambahla forever.

today i picked up my third external hard drive, 1 TB for 90 euro, and started reading the four loves, by C.S. Louis, tis possibly the best thing i have ever read

 

Lol, im still only on 2 external HDD's. It's a bit of an arse because ive got SATA ports to spare (i think there are 8 in total, im using 4) but for some reason only 1 of my enclosures works on E-SATA, if the other one is connected the system refuses to boot, dam cheap chinese shit. Id like to source some nice ones that work on ESATA and have cooling fans, and then splash and buy 4 identical ones. I've been looking at gigabit NAS too but they tend to be funny about max capacity / file system support.

um, i need to find somewhere to sleep tonight. there is no way i'm staying at my house for another 100 degree night.

 

reason i'm on three is cause i have a laptop, was thinking bout upgrading my internal, its only 120gb, also my processors are running kinda hot lately which is a little worrying, if you have all the ports in you comp you should fill them up, you can never have enough memory

I've been gone the past few days.. too much to catch up on here.. damnit!

Went to Minneapolis to shoot a wedding. Was hugely disappointed at the Mall of America, and the drive was way too long!

 

how did the wedding go pandy, get good shots? today I hung out with my lovely sister. SO glad they are home! They were away for a week and we missed eachother so. We went to the playground and went down this massive slide with Riloh in between us. It was a lil too wild for him and after he didn't speak for about 5 minutes just held this shocked expression on his face, then whimpered but then broke into hilarious laughter! It's my husbands birthday today and tomorrow so I'm being a super good wife today

 

Happy Birthday to Mr Luxie and PMSL at Riloh he is so cute. I just took my last Tamiflu. No more sickness hopefully. Had a rotten day.

 

Had a fall out with the neighbours, in the sense that we don't get on anyway and now they are trying to be petty about where i put my AC. It's technically a air sourced heat pump, as afaik is a permitted development i.e. i don't need planning, and im 99% sure we have right of access written into the deeds, failing that i can get it from the county court. I'm going to have a word with the organ grinder tomorrow rather than his fat monkey mrs and see how far we can go without me being getting all legal on their ass.

yeah the wedding shots turned out decently.. I was sort of an assistant for a friend, but took a lot of shots anyways.
