I'm hungover. waiting for chineese food and my mates to come round. I'd much orefer to be in bed instead of chatting and arranging this gig were organizing. I shaved my sidecut it just keeps getting bigger and bigger. I accidently shaved it way to fucking short so I look like a nazi. nice to touch though.

Went to see District 9, fucking amazing film. It's nice to know they can still make intelligent sci-fi if they don;t let the likes of michael bay anywhere near it. I'd go see it again tomorrow.

Had a BS day at work, went to work to do the isolation only to find they have decided to use it today because apparently city hospitals water treatment plant is fucked, so I asked when they will be finished an they said about 10, but I have to be at tipton for 10 so I went back at 8 to see what i could get done.

Could only do half, and had to explain in great detail to the pig-shit thick Philippineo nurses that I couldn't come back after hours because I wasn't a keyholder, and that I would come back 6:30 monday morning and that would have to fucking do. Then I found out that they were planning to run aston cross tomorrow to take up the slack from city, so knowing that between the pair of them <client> and <contractor> couldn't organise a pissup in a brewery I decided to phone my manager to see if anyone had bothered telling her she needed to get someone to clean it, but alas, voicemail.

So I'm supposed to be on holiday from an hour ago, but I can see myself getting some desperate 5am phone call asking me to dig them out the shit at aston, which they have already tried to get me to cover on my holiday, and then I have to go back 6:30 monday morning to finish a shift I've already tried to do twice.

    Also go see district 9.

    yes, yes you may.

Also I forgot to meantion that I had run out of toothpaste today, so i decided to test another of SE's assertions and brush my teeth with bronners. It wasn;t too bad tbh, when I was brushing it didn;t really taste of anything, not even pepermint, and then when I spat there was a tiny bit of soapy aftertaste. I would recommend anyone gives it a go just as to say they have done it.

just split a dread that was annoying me because it would stick 3 inches out the top on my head, under the instruction of dreadysunflower. I feel a bit dirty now, a razor hath touched my hair, but on the other hand I now have 14 dreads, which is twice as many as samson.

My cat actually came home last night!!! Woohooo!!! He was fighting another cat when I heard them outside our house. lol The cat was very dirty, but seems to be fine in every other way.

In other news, my parents arrive today! I haven't seen my father in over a year so I'm very excited!!!

    Awesome! Glad to hear this.

We had friends back in England who had a cat that disapeered for 3 years before it came home.

5 years ago one of our cats Sarah ran away from home. It was after our other cat George was hit by a car :(

I believe I have seen her once or twice roaming the streets.

Thanks enjoy! I hate it so much when he runs away. He's generally too stupid to find his own way home... this is his first time actually. Sorry your cats are gone. :( I think this is the worst part of keeping pets. I cant' take the emotional roller coaster.

I need coffee and there is none made. Going to do that now.

    Glad he's home Daisy!

I dicked about with my laptop and I managed to get my speakers working! So I blasted some tunes while I worked on stage 2 of an application process for a pallative care hospice.

    Then my speakers failed.

    Boooooo to broken speakers.

HDH - What did you take in school? I thought it was art like. How does this transfer to palliative care?

Nooooo I did Social Politics and Health Sciences. It's an admin job but they require the staff to liase with families and patients, apparently it's like a huge family. Last year I had a semester learning about bereavement and pallative care plus I have personal experience with them.
They're a charity and I really want a career in the voluntary sector so it'd be a step ladder to bigger things.

I'm currently telling them about my hobbies because they want people who can use their hobbies to help families through that period. I reckon I'm a bloody good candidate for the job.
