Today I finished a quilt I was working on and hopefully will be going to the fabric store for some dye so I can try and over-dye some dress I am attempting to make.

I just got back from surfing. I was watching waves, letting the sun dry my locks and a random Russian guy came up to me said something liking about my "Indian Haircut." I was totally surprised that this dude actually knew something about dreadlock history... I just let the dude talk and somehow the conversation got to different country's national morality and character. Weird shit. "It is better to fail a wise man, than to succeed for a fool."

Mandy, I think t takes two weeks for weed to get out of your system, so you should be ok :)

I'm watching the Derren Brown thing, and the next bit after this break is the proper "Event" video... I'm not watching, I get proper anxious about all that stuff ;P

if u smoke once it takes 13 days for weed to be out.
but if ur a consistent smoker it'll take at least a month.

    and i got a haircut.

def not! you have very little body fat to begin with and are active, and small amounts of pot metabolize relatively quickly anyway. even if you smoked every day and stopped a month ago it would be out of your system by now. so you have nothing to worry bout ;)

right now I am dying my dreads again, want them even redderrr... then my dad and bro are driving up to take Dean and me to this premier of a documentary on the national parks and dinner, I get to dress up yeeay!

had a bit of a piss take evening. The plan was : go to tipton for 10, get money and mopheads, go to kings norton for 10:30, help tracy out a bit, home by 11:30

What happened was, went to tipton, maureen didn't turn up so left at 11 to go see tracy, got there and the water treatment plant had decided to explode so had to hang around for the gaffer to turn up, meanwhile maureen has phoned to say she was alseep and is now at work, drive back over to tipton, offer to take them home as it's pretty much on the way but somehow got talked into going to hansworth for jerk chicken and festivals. So 2 1/2 hours and about 50 miles later than intended I can go to fucking sleep, chicken was good mind you.

he's extremely ADD/ADHD, had problems interacting with other children, and was very peculiar growing up. got in fights and got bullied. started doing drugs really young... looking at him now you'd never believe it though, he's tall and handsome and mature... and sober (thank gawd)
he had to get in a special program to finish HS, though.

I suppose I could have been homeschooled, too, but I never wanted it.

haha well day by day. It's really good your making sure your son gets social interaction. Is he afraid of other kids? Or does he fight with them? Or get picked on?

well I'm really bummed out. I don't know if I'm going to be able to transfer to UT for the spring semester, I may have to wait till fall. I don't know if some of my AP credits will transfer in time :(

I don't know, I tend to take these things as opportunities. I've been thinking about enrolling at this fashion school in town for sewing classes and such. maybe this is my chance to do that.

Pissed off. My best mate was supposed to be taking me to see the illuminations at Blackpool as a final treat before I move. She can drive and she wanted to stay in a hotel. But well I can't afford it so I asked her can we not just go for the evening. She said yeah that was fine until she facebooked me saying that she's not taking me at all because her sisters taking her instead because "she's skint" and she suggested that me and my husband go instead.

I'm upset because this was meant to be our trip not me and my husbands. She could have gone with her sister and taken me for the evening another time. I'm sick of her fucking me off.
