i used to like the trim, for like the first half hour while i was having fun with that much green, then it would start getting tedious and boring. what strain were you manicuring?

 

Mostly Blue Dream and Headband... but also some Green Crack.

The other day I did it for 16 hours straight... I'm still trying to recover!

Revising for the death exam from hell I've got tomorrow, this will pretty much justify my life for the last year (that and spending a whole year in continuous employment) I think I'm 60 / 40 pass / fail but we'll see on the day

It's 3 hours written and then I have to go to work for 7 1/2 hours afterwards. Shit day is going to be shit, beer on the weekend methinks..

thanks everyone who's excited bout my proj, mmg that's really encouraging. I think we are going to do around $20 a pop for the printed tees, don't know about wording but definitely lots of design. my friend Richard will be drawing most of it, I will be doing other drawings and my boyfriend will be scanning and editing, integrating colors, etc. we really want to have a solid philosophy behind everything we do before we sell anything. sustainability es key.

We have no snow in Montreal, Canada yet! It rained today instead, I can't believe it!

I had such a busy day at work. I was absent yesterday and at my desk this morning there was a huge pile of client files waiting for me. Hooray. I had to catch back all that work plus doing today's tasks as well. I don't know if I like being this "essential" at my workplace, it's actually kind of scary. Otherwise, I and the cat are ready to move, I can't wait to be at my new place.

 

In my abnormal psychology class today I shared my opinion that anxiety can be a good thing. I was jumped on by everybody in the class that anxiety is bad and ruins lives. Meh. I dunno though...I think in the long run having anxiety can act like a slap in the face to inspire some goddamn positive change in ones life. Yes...if gone untreated it can lead to more serious conditions but thats when the debate shifts to why practictioners oughtta use more holistic approaches to treating psychological disorders instead of doping everybody up on anti anxiety and anti depression meds!!!!!! Blahsmldng;aosdfa!

 

Had a big deal exam today, I think I probably passed but won't find out till the end of jan.

I did a deep clense too, my first. It was pretty dam good at flake removal and has left my hair feeling very soft, but I didn;t really rinse it well enough because there is still some bicarb gunk left at the roots so I'll give them a rinse tomorrow. Can't be fucked tonight, far too much college and work and far too little sleep.

 

i love dread mullets. i love catalan fashion and hair. don't know where those guys are from but they remind me of catalonia.

babysat my cousins this afternoon and the toddler was a nightmare. got depressed looking up camera lenses. i have a talent for falling completely in love with a lens and then finding out it's $2K. looked at a bunch of glass beads on etsy. have a thing for glass beads atm. if anyone's interested look up 'pandora beads'. they all have around 5mm holes so if you have some skinny dreads they're perfect.

speaking of weather, there's apparently a decent chance of snow tomorrow here... in san antonio. weird.

 

oh- mandy. i agree that anxiety can be a good thing. it's basically a symptom right? if nobody ever exhibited symptoms of disease/disorder/whatever nobody would ever be diagnosed and have a chance of combating/managing said disease/disorder/whatever. it's a shitty symptom, but it's a signal that something is wrong. the root cause needs to be dealt with, as well as the anxiety itself.

 

happens to the best of us.. we never win.

 

but of course! with applicable fees.

ps. royal mail sucks, like, wtf? I just got something I ordered several months ago.

 

shifting around in my bed this morning, somehow my balls got caught in my tangled up sleeping pjs and when I moved my legs the wrong way my pjs totally twisted them up hard and i almost puked. lame.

on the up side, I made some face-melting chili and ate a boat load of brownies.
