I'm going to vent. We can't find a house because no one wants a dog living on their property. Apparently it's the smell of them that Landlord's don't like. We decided when we moved in here we were going to buy this flat, do it up and sell it so we could get on the property ladder. But this time last year, I came into a shit ton of money and we decided to fuck buying this shithole and use the money to move.

Honestly, I wished we'd never gotten the dog if I'd have known he'd cause a shit ton of problems with us moving but I am NOT going to be one of those owners that dumps their dog on a shelter. Hopefully something will come up soon. It's soul destroying living here.

Hdh, that looks fine!! I can't work out what you are doing in the first pic, are you pulling the stitch off? Looks like you have the wool on the wrong side? But the second and last look perfect !! I can't remember how long it took me to learn the first row, but I do know it used to take me hours to do a couple of rows. Be patient Your fingers will get the hang of the movements and stuff

Today I started my love affair with slip. Sexy stuff. And I started painting the porcelain beads, and didnt know what to paint on them! What sort of patterns/colours do you guys like? I have done some rainbowy ones.. Any suggestions? Or would you prefer block colours to patterns? Or just left white? Or glazed?

Just had a huge downer, and a huge talk with the man about my future with uni. Have come to the conclusion that the last year probably won't be worth it.

I am annoyed with my husband too. He doesn't want me to have any part in this move, he wants to do it all himself from finding the house right down to packing and to be honest, I don't think he is doing enough. I can honestly not see this move going ahead. I've given him deadlines etc and he still doesn't have it in him to do anything. I don't want to nag at him because I don't want to be a nagging wife but we need an income and financially we are going to be worse off if he doesn't get us moving. We never go out we are in this flat 24/7 because of our financial position. I'm desperate to be taken out on dates. I can't talk to him about it because he'll take me on dates and it makes me feel shitty because he can't afford to take me out on dates and I don't wanna put anymore pressure on him.

Fickle why not make legend of zelda buttons, Nintendo buttons that kinda shiz?

 

Yeah they did feel a bit tight but it's nothing to worry about it's only practice yarn I'm using. When I say slack I mean they don't create enough tension. I'm wondering if bigger needles might help like bamboo needles? Don't quit uni.

HDH - I feel you, right now I am renting in the city and it is sucking up a lot of $$, my bf was doing a lotta work for his parents but now they are saying they aren't going to pay him to work anymore cause they are running low on money too, so it's going to be hard I don't want him to have to get a day job cause I know he can start his own business and be successful if given the chance, but I can't pay for everything we are compromising though. Luckily he doesn't spend a lotta money, except on meds which are necessary. Fucking US health care FUCK.
