I was just listening to how there is a major shortage of oncologists right now in my province. Do you think at 30 it's too late to become a doctor? I have a feeling that I would never pay off my student loans (or even my current one that i"m still paying). This is just talk... it's just so darn sad though.

I don't think so, you'd still have the 6 years in med school, and it'll be so competitive, but I spose if there is a shortage of a certain branch of medicine I'm sure a hospital would be glad to take you on. But certainly not too late

I'd like to go to Africa. After uni I'll work for a year or two to save and live at home, then maybe take a trip there. When I get back I could move out into the town, work and save some more, then go again. I might think about living there for a few years. If I get this job in the winter it'll be the making of me. *thinks some more*

 

My Dr back in Wigan was in his sixties and had only been a fully trained doctor for six years. He was an arrogant prick, so I can't say that this was one of those heartwarming stories where the good guy finally succeeds in his dream. So he either was a really shit Dr and kept failing his exams OR he started his training in his fifties.

You on the other hand are nice so...

I just logged in quickly to say that I found an old camera SD card in a camera I was going to throw out but got persuaded otherwise, and, I've found a shit ton of photo's from before and directly after I got my dreads.

I don't have an SD reader on my computer... So, once I can work out how to get them from my Wii to the internet, I might do a proper timeline! I look so funny!! Waxy times for all to see!

I listened to Eminem's leaked album today!

I'm so disappointed. Lyrically it's as good as relapse, and he doesn't use an annoying accent like he did with his last album, but the instrumentals are TERRIBLE.

Son I am disappoint.

Also, next Tuesday is my last exam, so no school after that (but then I have summer school...Eurgh). In the last art class of the year, these guys and myself played with the auto-tune program that was on my phone. It was awesome.

'silly bands' are rubber band bracelets in the shape of animals of music notes or whatever.
My little brother came home with about five, all broken, and he kept putting them in his mouth.
I told him if I saw him with them in his mouth again, they would go in the garbage.

Two minutes later he tells me he has bubble gum in his mouth, I look and it is a colorful mass of broken rubber band bits all chewed up. I told him to put them in the garbage, he did, and went and cried on the couch.

Then dad comes in, asks why he is crying, tells him to get the bands out of the trash to play with again and gives him candy.
