What Are You/Have You Been Doing Today.?

A year ago my mom and her boyfriend split up and I moved in with my dad. A month ago school ended and I moved back in with mom and her boyfriend (they've been on and off) and now mom says they are breaking up and I'm moving in with her and this other man she's been seeing, but she's carrying on as normal with her current boyfriend, the one she's supposedly leaving. I'm confused, and she won't talk to me about whats going on and always changes the subject soisodifjasdfg.

I don't know whether I'm supposed to end up living with mom and randy, or just mom, or mom and darren, or dad, etc and she won't talk to me about it. But she's acting like everything is completely normal and her and current boyfriend still act like they are in a relationship even though mom has announced she's leaving him for another man.

I'm confused :S

sarah, it was a mistake for your mom to give you the responsibility of knowing this info. i'd try to go to my dad's if you like living there.

 

I agree with vig... or possibly coming to stay with me. =) My kids can start sharing aroom and you can have one of theirs.

HDH, does it feel good ot have it done? I imagine it does. I love the saying.

 

Dads house is a bit lonely and sad and dirty and there is never any food. Its a matter of putting up with failmom BS or living off of canned beans and being shut in my room.
I've got about a month before school starts to settle somewhere, I just want to talk to mom about my options and she won't have it. We were supposed to me moved by tomorrow into the new house, but there hasn't been any more mention of it
Although all moms things are packed up and missing.

I'd rather have the full honest sucky truth than shifting through a pile of lies and being left in the dark as to whats going on, at least about what directly affects me.

so I had my interview today.. was strange because i didn't even drop my resume off at this place, but a thai place next door.. they must have given my resume to them. but at the interview they asked if I'd want to train as a sushi chef.. and fuck yes I do so wish me luck! will hear back next weekend.

Today I had a "proper" lie-in, till half 11. Now I'm achey and stuff. Pft. And I had a dream about my ex, which I'm convincing myself wasn't actually him. Also trying to get a splinter out of my thumb, its really stuck in there and my tweezers are too small ><

Actually I went on a slight drinking binge and then realized how unproductive that was and stopped. Ha. Thats where my alter ego came from....I was just drunkard. eeeeeek! No more though.

A good friend friend of mine fasted for 3 days and inspired me to do something similiar....Today Im just eating fruits and veggies and tons of water...then tomorrow Im gonna fast for 24 hours. Ive never done it before....but am hoping to cleanse out my system and then perhaps go on an all raw diet for a bit. I need to reconnect spirtually. It's like I take 2 steps forward and one step back [oh yes that was a Paula Abdul reference...I know you are all envious of my ability to make tacky 80's pop culture references when discussing spiritual matters....suck it] =]

I've switched to a weekday vegetarian diet which is a pretty big deal for me... loving it a lot! I'm not quite ready to give up meat, but one day I think it may happen... i just love burgers too much.. fuck.

today i am doing transcriptions. I just spent the past 3 hours typing a 20 minute segment about a woman's life story that has nothing to do with our actual research. My boss needs to learn how to keep interviews on track. AHHHHH. I have probably three hours left of this one interview and then two more to finish by tomorrow night.

I have a self-inflating rollmat for when I go camping. It is my pride and joy, along with my XXL sleeping bag. Whenever I lend my stuff out to people, it comes back ruined, or doesn't come back at all. Almost always. Especially with my siblings. That is why I don't like lending stuff out. Then my sister pulls out mMmyy rollmat and assumes she can use it, without asking me. Then I say can you not use that, she goes on a huff and tells me not to sit on "her" chair. I don't want her using my rollmat because she is going on a drunken camping trip with friends who drink alot. I don't trust it. I sit on her chair, sober. This rollmat has sentimental value (kk its a rollmat but it was expensive and anything I buy that is expensive is valued) but I spose she could use on the condition that she pays £35 for a new one if she ruins it..

 

I have two jobs, with this one I am an undergraduate research assistant working under a professor. Right now I am typing these interviews word-for-word. not fun.

I need a good roasties recipe!

an update on today: I have quit transcribing, I'll get back to it tomorrow. I get dizzy after a while, so I needed to.
