how do you mean by slide film? I'm sounding like such a dope! I'd be trés jelous if you got an A3 printer,,what would you use it for?

 

My dad used to develop and I know hes my dad but he is'nt the sharpest tool in the box LOL....if he can do it Lux you can!

Lux my friend got a black room for under £100 on ebay, it had a projector, timer, chemicals, all the bits you need to develop your own film. Maybe you could think about trying something like that?

 

Slide film is develops directly into slides without the need to develop negatives and then transfer them to photopaper. So where as regular film is film -> negative -> photograph (on photopaper) slide film is just film-> slide, which you can then stick in a slide scanner and treat it as if you shot it on a dSLR. I meant it as advise for jason as he was moaning about the cost of developing prints.

Recovering from a snake bite.

Daughter had her friend sleepover last night and they were up at 6am! I made them some pancakes and sat down with a cup of tea.Now Im wondering what I should do.....I want to be productive today,if I dont think of anything to do Ill end up streaming shite films and drinking wine after midday and Ill be annoyed tomorrow that I wasted a day.

 

I got my hoop today! Its huge, 44", I have yet to try it AND I thought of a dissertation question, well, a different one from what I had planned. "Art vs craft: Is is as simple as concept vs handmade?" or something like that I am more passionate (writing wise) about art vs craft than I am about kilns ^^

 

Just found out my best friend slept with my brother's ex girlfriend last night, like 3 hours after they broke up. Quite pissed off

answer to both your questions, the camera shop is at the luas stop on abbey st. just beside the two euro shop, they also do slide film, its about 15 euro to get a roll and get it developed and mounted, oh and its the film used in those old fashioned slide machines "next slide please"............ i love the look of the shots out of them

 

yeah they were, though my friend told me that "i kept saying we shouldn't be doing this" so she knew it was wrong, but did it regardless, the selfish bitches.
