What I noticed is that if I wake up in an average/neutral mood (or worse) and somebody else woke up grumpy or has a morning temper my mood gets better because of it. Especially in puberty when me and my brother woke up and had to get to school around the same time this was really noticable. The worse his mood was the better mine got. And it also kind of seemed that the better my mood was the worse his mood got :-D At bad days the situation was reversed :p

    Stoner!

I thought it was because of the make up procedure? ;)

I would not have guessed but my housemate is one of those girls who wakes up an hour earlier to get 'her look fixed'. I knew there are women who do this but really didn't expect her to be one of them! I recommended her in all seriousness to just get an hour of extra sleep :p I mean 5 o clock instead of 6 o clock mainly because of your face....? That's quite something imo :p

Wake and Bake for me... then I smile... unless there is too much negativity in the air... then I get grumpy. I like the early morning quiet.

i used to rush to the computer first thing... I have learned to wait an hour or so. Makes for a happier day :)

I have ahard time sleeping very long. I normally wake up wayyyyy before my alarm having not gotten enough sleep, so I'm usually a grump in the morning. If I'm not going anywhere important I'll wake n bake, and sometimes I will before work too if it isn't going to be a busy day. Sometimes if I'm really exhausted the morning weed backfires though....

dizzy, hungry, gotta pee, and damd glad i don't have to live with anyone.

by morning i assume this to mean my personal morning, which is whatever time of day or night it happens to be,
that i've had more then a couple of hours of sleep and i'm ready to wake up from it.

the actual time on the clock, is only for if i have appointments or commitments and when the buses are running
and when the stores open if i need to buy anything

I had this problem, too. What I did was I bought some instant coffee and a mortar and pestle. I crushed a teaspoon of the coffee as fine as possible and then snorted it. Within two minutes I was . . . doin' fine.

PS: Don't let anyone see you do this. They'll never look at you the same again.

But seriously, I used to feel like death warmed over every morning. That's because I ended every day for the last four years with a big heaping bowl of ice cream. In the morning, after two large mugs of coffee, I was able to start the day's chores. But it's now been ten days since I've had any ice cream, and I gave up the coffee at the same time. So I feel a lot better now, though I still wake up with the thought, "Oh no! Not again!"
