I would say indie music is far superior. A lot more diverse and does not rely on a love of ganja and quasi religiousity to appreciate it. But that's my prejudices showing. I'm sure it has meaning.

I find her slightly annoying now too. All that lighting candles and sniffing sedimentary rock. What's that all about? I can see her flaws and why people think the way they think of her on both sides. I have just loved her since she first started over ten years ago. I wasn't the person I am now back them. Bit of a guilty pleasure.
