Dimmu Borgir - Dodsferd. Haven't listen to this album (or Dimmu Borgir in general) in a few years, but Stormblast is my favourite one of them. Not extreme hard or the artsyfartsy metal they make now, but this very atmospheric and folkinfluenced black metal. Still great stuff I think!
Yeah, I think it's among the most quintessential symphonic black metal albums ever. Dodsferd happens to be my definite fave off the album. Actually, I dig most Dimmu Borgir albums, actually. NP: JimiHendrix - Purple haze
Really? I think Puritanical is quite good as well, I might like it even more than Enthroned. It's sandwiched between two lesser albums, but the track Arcane lifeforce mysteria from Spiritual is among my favourite Dimmu songs. NP: Solefald - Nutrisco et extinguo I'm not too much a fan of progressive metal or post-black but this is beautifully weird. One of my fave albums of all time, not one bad song on the record.
Bloodhound gang - Fire water burn... I know its not metal but I was in the mood....for some gang action....
Kvist - Min lekam er meg blott en byrde Classic, painfully underacknowledged Norwegian black metal. Tr00 but semi-symphonic. I think you'd know this one, Tjipke (I think that's a really cool name by the way), or else you'd probably like it. Looong time since I heard Troll... drep de kristne!!
