how much of a connection have you found between mental 'illness' and a sense of the paranormal? I imagine, ignorantly, that you'd come across a whole whack of stuff connecting the two. man. you should look up a dude named thomas szasz if you ever have a few days. He has an interesting view of mental illness and all that stuff.
Nietzsche changed my outlook on life- when I was 21. And Shunryu Suzuki before that (at 19), for both coinciding and wildly different reasons--.
I'm trying to write songs at the moment. Zarathustra is poetic and romantic and might help my creative juices to flow a little better. I am going to become the prophet, the drop of rain that warns of the coming lightening that is the ubermensch.
actually, we have had a case before where it was no paranormal , and it was mental illness. and a sense of the paranormal. a bit of schizophrenia.
no, people contact me when they have paranormal problems, questions, stories, pictures, etc. and a case, is when we go to the family and interview them, take a tour of their house, use equipment to see if we can gather any kind of scientific proof, etc.. ill pm you the site, you can see what we do.
holy motherfuck I was just joking about the ghostbuster thing but you really do it!!! nice. so you see dead people and stuff. Really though .... anything there or are you just making a buck? or peaking your own testosterone?
did you see the site? we do it all for free. right now were helping a woman and her fiance who has a 3 year old boy who is seeing and talking to an imaginary friend named ella. and a bunch of wierd things are going on in their house. my lead investigator is interviewing her tommorow.
im reading The Long Walk by Stephen King its a really good book about the endurance of 100 teenagers. a resolution of mine is to also read more books.
i saw a ghost as a kid at a very old estate that belongs to my mom's high school boyfriend. she asked me why i didn't go into a room. i said i was startled by the lady in there. that place was all kinds of crazy.
you must have a lot of patience! i imagine there is a lot of shit to wade through before you get to something close to tangible.
yeah, it takes a few trips, and we ask questions about medications, drugs, etc. all private though. its a passion. we love it.
Stolen Lives by Malika Oufkir is one of my absolute FAV books. i HIGHLY recommend it. and its a true story, unbelievable. my book is falling apart though, because ive read it a hundred times and loaned it to so many ppl. theres a sequel too. i MUST get it!
