I don't really consider religion for myself. There are religions and beliefs that I admire, but I don't like to practice religion personally. I prefer to study religion objectively, to get a solid, realistic understanding of the world around me. I like to try to approach everything objectively, not just religion itself. But I guess science would be my religion, if anything.

I don't care to believe in a diety just because one could possibly exist. That doesn't mean I am a bad, unmoral, or unethical person. I still try to be a good person and lead a good life just for the sake of life itself. I respect all people and their right to live the life they want, as I do myself. Not to say I won't throw my opinion, or some information in the mix, because I think it is important for us to have a good understanding of why we are the way we are, and why we think the way we think.

I am the sum of my parts; I am a complex combination of chemical elements.

I guess you could say I'm a Christian, because I do believe that Jesus died for me and my sins, but I wouldn't know what denomination I fall in to. I don't think it matters.
I don't believe in hell because a God that is portrayed as just and fair would never send his own creation, his own artform and masterpiece, to a place so vile.
I believe that those that are not let into Heaven must serve their time for the sins they committed by hovering between the mortal and the immortal world. (Kind of like the Christmas Carol)
I believe that the old testament is God's word, but more like God's word interpreted through other people. I think everything before Jesus's crucifixion really is invalid.
I don't believe in persecuting any kind of lifestyle or race or religion.
I interpret the Bible as saying that if you are in true love, and you are comfortable with it, then make love all you want. It's more of a beautiful thing than a sacred act.
I believe that you can be in true love more than once.
I don't believe that God hates gays. I believe he lifts them up and blesses them.
I see God as more of a being you could walk beside on the beach and just talk with than really a higher HIGHER being.
I don't believe in vengeance. What comes around will go around.
I am a strong believer in fate and the whole bad karma/good karma thing.
I believe that God created us in a very primitive form to where we would evolve into what we are today.
I believe that God didn't make animals for man to feed off of. They were meant to befriend man and vice-versa.

Well that was my 2 cents.

I do not consider myself a follower of any religion, but I have found out that I have beliefs extremely similar to those of Theravada Buddhism and Pantheism (possibly Panentheism too, I don't know the difference between the two).
