what are your biggest inspirations

curiosity. I want to know how things work and I want to learn new things. That drives me mostly. Oh, and hiking or sitting in the woods and see the clouds flow by is great. If you can forget the problems of your daily life for some time, there is room for new ideas.

benign strangeness of design. both in nature and in technology, and especially when the two of them are together in harmony. seeing when someone else has done this makes me want to do so myself, even if, usually, all i can do is make a picture in my mind of how it might be, and attempt to depict the wonderful strangeness i would prefer to live in.
