Trash the Patriot act Set term limits for congress Pass the ERA Bring the troops back home from Afghanistan and Iraq Abolish welfare Cut taxes Revitalize our infrastructure Make ‘America the Beautiful’ our national anthem Hotwater
I must say I agree with all of these...except for the national anthem...I love our national anthem, but America the Beautiful is awesome, too
Well then how about "my country tis of thee" :2thumbsup: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jwV8Jqj2oKI"]YouTube - Billy Preston - My Country Tis of Thee Hotwater
Look forward to having thousands of unemployed and sick people sleeping on your front lawn because they cannot afford domicile.
public referendums on everything .... enough of this archaic bollocks of a minority of elected people making decisions for the vast majority ... lets get rid of party politics and make it participation politics
Destroy the militatry complex. Break up all the major corperations. Restrict the power of the police. Give greater power to state government. The fedral government should only serve to make sure the infilstructure of the nation stands, they have no moral or lawful hold on anyone. these are my demands. Also... lynch every member on congress and the house... restart from scratch. legalize marijuana
I agree with all of this. Especially since our country is being run by big corporations. I feel they should be dismantled and restructured in a sense where they can help society grow rather than dismember it. As for government, I feel that the people should be more involved with the decisions of our country, as opposed to allowing the higher-ups handle it.
1. North American Union. One currency, unlimited migration, no Taxation between Canada, Mexico, and The US. 2. Legalization of marijuana. It sounds simple, but tax it, regulate it, and this would fix the cartel problems that make parts of Mexico kind of dangerous. 3. Import quota on Chinese goods. We can make almost everything in Canada, Mexico, and the US. We don't take the quota off until the Yuan is revalued. 4. Significant infrastructure developments Roads, Airports, Railways, Ports, internet access, urban revitalization projects, schools, hospitals. People want work, and we need better roads, faster internet, and more teachers. 5. Change justice system to focus on rehabilitation instead of punisment. Perhaps the nonviolent offenders could be put to work for a reasonable salary building some of this new infrastructure. 6. Higher Education Prices significantly reduced to make sure more people have access to college education. People who want to get science and engineering degrees go for free. 7. Brain Drain Lucrative incentives for skilled foreign scientists and engineers to move to America, easy path to citizenship. 8. Military Redeployment. Take the US out of Afghanistan and Iraq. Reduce the size of the standing Armed Forces, and instead put that money into R&D, and naval infrastructure. Have a foreign policy outlining we will engage in no wars unless we our our allies are attacked by a foreign power. 9. Foreign Land. To pay for all of that and reduce the defecit, the united states owns trillions of dollars of nonstrategic foreign land which could be used to repay defect and invest in infrastructure. 10. Medical Reform. HMO busting, whistleblowing destruction of the current medicare system, and institute something similar to Canada's.
Basically, and no one likes Quebec, not the rest of Canada, not the US, not France. They're all alone.
1. No political contributions from corporations or special interest groups. 2. Limits on imports from countries that mistreat their workers. 3. Limits on imports from countries that abuse the environment. 4. Simple income taxes with no loopholes for the rich. 5. Universal health care insurance. 6. Balanced national budget required by the constitution. 7. Congress: House of Representatives only, no Senate. 8. No laws against alternative lifestyles or "victimless" crimes. 9. Eliminate censorship by the FCC. 10. Make me king for life.
Waitresses are taxed on freely given tips-so I agree about taxing churches on their freely given "tips". I'm not sure how that squares with freedom of and freedom from religion as written in the constitution, but it's true that those organizations, like the 7oo club spout off about politics constantly. On the conservative side.
I think we should have a public referendum on how our taxes are spent. This way you wouldn't have these divisive debates on whether or not things like universal healthcare or our particular foreign policy are right for the country. If the majority of people didn't want healthcare or didn't support the two wars in the middle east, the funds would not be there, period.
