    I'm European.

    It's still overrated.

Where are you from? Why would it be overrated? I don't think Europe is the best, but still.. each continent's got something.

Maybe you should leave Europe and find out for yourself.
I've seen most of the regions (ie, west, south, north) apart from the east & balkans.

It's overrated in the sense that so many Americans seem to make it their first destination outside of North America, and there are so many other places in the world that are far more worthwhile.

Edit: Oh, don't get me wrong. Of course it has something. It has a great variey of beautiful nature and exciting things to see, and lots of awe-inspiring history and culture. But it's just too developed, civilized, domesticated. It's too tame. And again - expensive.

Ah, of course! I know there are more interesting places than Europe. I always wanted to visit Latin America and Asia. North America as well, but not necessarily.

I want to find it out myself, but I'm still studying (and hopefully still will be for at least two years) so.. the right time will come.

    Study abroad :)
Europe does have a lot to offer, but for my own sake, I will leave properly exploring it for once I'm a bit older and (much) better off so I can truly enjoy it. For one month in Europe I could probably spend 3-6 in SE Asia/Central America..

Plus, in my experience, the people in Europe tend to be more jaded toward foreigners than elsewhere..

I'm about to apply the Erasmus programme but it offers us studying only in Europe. And I guess I'm too shy and scared to leave Europe for studies on my own...

    Loads of Czechs in Australia..
Anyways, your list was fairly impressive, and if you have that desire within you I'm sure you'll experience all you could dream of and more.

Don't be shy or afraid! That shit's just gonna hold you back.

I still feel strangely at home in the European environment.. it has a very different feel than the US.... smaller, more visceral, emotional, people are not as aloof it seems.

I've always been curious about Eastern Europe. Seems here in the U.S. most people think of Western Europe when they think about Europe. I would love to visit the eastern part.
