i think it has more to do with how your family celebrates christmas than being "spoiled"...

personally in our family its a pretty huge thing.. christmas eve.. most of the family comes over.. think there was about a dozen people at the house.. tons and tons of finger foods.. and a living room thats half full of presents.. we open christmas eve.. think it has to do with the upbringing of my mom and aunt.. seeing as we're a polish family and Chirstmas Eve is more of the celebratory day.. meaning its the day we open all of our presents and whatnot.. Christmas is just for lunch/dinner.. no big gathering that day... just a shit ton of food..

i got a garlic press, a silicone oven mitt (so i stop burning myself) a french fry cutter, a brush for my griddle, some camping stuff, and some yummy green stuff in my stocking. and candy. and an m&ms container that totally kicks ass for a stash spot.

this christmas, i was like a ninja bandit. i got lots of stuff, and no clothes thank (insert omnipotent figure here)! im so sick of clothes.

(santa is the embodiement of the spirit of christmas/ the holiday season. like goodwill in a red suit. satan is the one who doesn't exist. )
