I don't think you have before. My grandpa on my dad's side never had teeth that I can remember. As a kid we never thought much about it but as an adult I have no clue how he managed to eat all that he did, including steaks and such. He would even eat apple but cut into wedges. He must have had super toughened gums.
Slow cookers are a blessing in situations like that. Try that tip for the first time on something that's not a major meal so it's not ruined, so you can gauge how long you'd have to adjust the cooking time. Each crockpot is different. I only use mine for very long cooking times, so it works perfectly.
I was starving this morning so I made an egg "McMuffin" for breakfast. I left it open here so you could see the ingredients. Egg, medium cheddar cheese, slice of baked ham, tomato, and those are my fermented red and green hot peppers on top. All on a buttered English muffin. And a side of homemade hashbrowns and kiwi. It really hit the spot.
I had out a pork tenderloin and center sliced it and stuffed it with some swiss cheese and asparagus. Served it with the left over pickled veggies and broiled tomato from last night. Did some portobello caps and some cappellacci that I bought that was stuffed with ricotta, parm and asparagus. Tossed those with some basil olive oil and pesto and threw some parm on top. It was good and I used up some left overs. I also bought some sticky buns for enders.
I'm going to get fired from work. I have to be up early, but I had to look at this thread before I fell asleep.
I just put a breakfast casserole in the crock-pot. It's got sausage browned with bell peppers and onions, hash browns, grated cheese and eggs. It's built in layers except for the eggs which are poured over the top. It says cook it on low for 7 - 10 hours but I'll cut it back to just "Warm" before I go to sleep.
You could always go to HR and ask for help with an addiction. Then they can't fire you and they may as part of your recovery order in food for you. We have a plan now!!!!!
I bought these sweet potatoes at Whole Foods. They were purple. They tasted exactly like normal sweet potatoes, but with the added fun of purple-ness.
Yes, no factory farmed hummingbirds here! A huumingbird cake is actually a cake made with banana, pineapple and pecans.
