I made a nice nutritious meal for us tonight but it's nothing fancy at all. It's just mashed potato, beans and frankfurter diced up all thrown in together and microwaved. It doesn't look nice, or sound nice but it actually is. I remember making this with daddy when we travelled when I was a kid still. I remember we were like well what can we make with this? And so we ended up with what we did. Still a staple meal for me.

I guess I am not much of a popcorn connoisseur but I sure got a lot of new ideas for it from this thread!!! :)

Last night we had chicken souvlaki on flat breads. Feta cheese, tomato, cucumber, tabbouleh and tzatziki. Easy and tasty. :)

How close is the supply closet to your desk? You could have a real feast of it's stocked up. Personally, I think pencils taste better than air-popped popcorn.

dragged them through an egg and coated them with cajun fish crisp then fried them in oil in a pan

next time i will cut the legs off the rear end before cooking since all the meat was on the legs anyway

you can find them in most independent stores frozen section....this was my first try making them myself... i wasnt too impressed they tasted kind of swampy...

first time i had frog was at a chinese restaurant buffet in newmarket a long time ago

Aaahhh! I'm out of likes again.
    That sounds delicious!

Do you get a bigger stockpile of likes to give if you get life membership?

Lol! I'll take popcorn over pencils any day. I wonder how many calories are in a pencil...

Hmm, maybe I should try them at a restaurant first then. I see them here all the time, even in grocery stores. Guess they're a big thing in Montreal. I was going to ask how they tasted. I was waiting for what everyone says "tastes like chicken". lol Maybe swampy is an improvement. :-D

lol I figure you'd stay pretty trim. I'll stick with the pencils. I chewed my pencils a lot as a kid. I liked the earthy taste. I have a drawer full of them here (who uses pencils anymore?!). Maybe I can sprinkle some of these toppings on the lot. I could have party! I'd send out invitations but I have a strong feeling only you would rsvp.

lol It's sounding less and less appealing. ;-D

I made another zucchini frittata today. I put fresh dill in this time. I like it better with the tarragon.

I made fresh horseradish sauce and I helped my dad assemble the birthday cake for my mom. It was an opera cake.

Made a meatloaf with roasted parisienne potatoes and carrots and beets. We like it served with jalapeƱo tomatoes. I used extra lean beef and the loaf kind of fell apart at the end. Oh well, it still tasted pretty darn good. :)
