    That looks good.

I plan to open some cans tonight. We're broke and hubby's disability check doesn't go in the bank until Friday.

I'll make something yummy like the eggs and potatoes if my head eases up.

Otherwise, there's a can of bbq that hubby bought a while back. I'll heat it up and put it on a bun and have it with canned baked beans.

Picked up bagels at bagel run today and felt like this for dinner. Loaded bagel with cream cheese, prosciutto, basil, grape tomato and lots of cracked pepper. It hit the spot.

chicken tenderloins diced up and cooked with chopped celery...added a can of sliced waterchestnuts and some crunchy peanuts

flavour comes from oxo chicken cube and curry powder

tastes better as leftovers because the flavour sets in better when its cold

i usually add shrimp but didnt have any today

    Steak

I was watching this LongHorn Steakhouse commercial on TV and suddenly had this overwhelming desire for a steak, so I drove to the supermarket and bought a few cuts

That sounds good! I used to like having prosciutto wrapped around a croissant. I may have to have it soon as a treat. I let myself have a salt day now (well, one treat) every once in a while.

I had a craving for oatmeal when I got up this morning so I cooked up some steel cut oats. I usually make it overnight in the slow cooker but it's pretty quick in a pot, about 15 to 20 minutes. It's a lot chewier this way, but a nice change. It went really well with bananas and blueberries.

I decided on a hamburger today for dinner but only had ground lamb in the freezer. I added fresh rosemary and garlic to the meat and melted a few shavings of smoked cheddar over it, topped it with red onion and sautéed mushrooms. Bit of mayo and Dijon mustard on whole wheat bread that I made, et voila. Was it ever good! I made some baked fries from red potatoes to go with it, they were nice and sweet.

Sometimes at my work the employees get to take home everything that was sent back because it was about to expire, so I got a ton of different boxes of microgreen plants yesterday for free!

For dinner today I used the sunflower greens in a stir fry. I made the sauce for it with sunflower seed butter and chili garlic paste and I threw sunflower seeds on the top when it was finished! Sunflower stir fry!

I've been craving a sub sandwich since last weekend when I ate 1/4 of a small one at a baby shower I attended.

I bought all the stuff a little while ago but I forgot the tomato :bigcry:

I'll have one tonight without the tomato.

Some Super Bowl treats for later. These were my test run. Oil was too hot. Frankfurters exploded lol.

Pizza bombs.. salami and cheese (some with pineapple). Also wrapped some pizza dough around frankfurts - skinless would have worked better! Pull apart garlic bread rolls and the mince is a onion ring cheeseburger patty. :D they all taste awesome. I'll have them perfected for the party. :)

Some jealous salty person had banned my last photo of the garlic bread on tinypic lol.

    No garlic bread for you!!

I am frying up a BUBBA vegetable burger and having a small salad with it. Bubba vegetable burgers look wonderful...chunky vegetable and beans is all I see in the one I took out to get defrosted.

I recommend Bubba vegetable burgers. They are wonderful....I ate one plain with red crushed pepper mixed into a balsamic vinegar dressed salad with sweet purple grapes.....I am going to have to buy a few more packages of Bubba Veggie burgers. I tried Bocca vegetable burgers the other day. They were not as good.
    I found my constant....:D
