Thanks! I really like the recipe for this icing. It's not super sweet and sugary like some of the carrot cake icings.
striploin on the bbq ..marinated in italian salad dressing with grilled tomato wedges for a side and it turned out perfect
Macaroni & Cheese. A food truck overturned the other day and a buddy from work returned from the scene with a carload of mac 'n cheese, jars of pickles, boxes of oatmeal and tea. So I'm eating well.
I made oven baked barbeque chicken, similar to Shake N Bake BBQ Glazed Chicken but homemade, so low sodium and without preservatives. I made a seasoned flour with herbs and Cajun spices and whole wheat flour, shook the pieces in a bag with the flour and baked for about 35 minutes. Then I made up the BBQ sauce (homemade ketchup, salt free beef broth, maple syrup, Worcestershire sauce and apple cider vinegar) , dipped the pieces in the sauce then baked for another 15 minutes. Yum, was it ever good. Crunchy on the outside and so juicy inside, and nice and tangy.
I made a swiss chard omelette today. I was just going to quickly scramble some eggs with the swiss chard but decided on an omelette last minute. I sautéed the swiss chard first in a bit of oil, then added it to the eggs in the pan before folding over the omelette. It was good! I think I'll add some onions next time when sautéing the swiss chard.
I made a box of mac & cheese, only I omitted the milk, used butter instead of margarine and added an undrained can of diced tomatoes and 1/2 TBL Italian seasoning. It was awesome, try this if your in a hurry for sometime to eat.
I'm going to the store and I'm going to put a Mississippi Roast in the crock pot. We'll throw in some Onions from our garden.
