Vegetarian sausages with peppers onion and garlic sautéed in a sweet chilli sauce served with tagliatelle and cheese on top. That's what I actually cooked but had mixed salad first and then figs in honey and yoghurt afterwards
Today: Salad (not cooked) Pasta sauce made with soya mince, carrots, peppers, mushroom, onion, garlic, tomatoes, wild marjoram and oregano. I'm serving it with mashed potatoes. Had pasta yesterday and am having noodles tomorrow so potatoes it is. A fresh roast pineapple thing with greek yoghurt, cream cheese and honey. I'll probably add nutmeg or cinnamon just before serving
I've got a beef roast and sweet potatoes in the electric roaster. I'll make some buttered broccoli to go with it.
I bought fig jam at the middle eastern market yesterday, and some homemade pita bread...and this morning, simply heated the pita bread and had the jam on it. Tonight, hubby's making hot wings.
There is a slight fall chill in the air so naturally I'm using it as an excuse to make soup. Italian wedding soup to be exact
Jamaican Jerk Chicken, Potato Salad, and Red Stripe. I used left over Jerk Sauce from the ribs I made last week. It wasn't as good as the chicken I made a couple of weeks ago since my client wanted to try a different recipe and the universal consensus was that the first recipe was better. C/S, Rev J
Last night, we built a fire outside. I cooked chicken breast in the cast iron skillet out there. They were delicious. I put lard in the skillet and marinated them in sub sandwich oil and vinegar. I ate a baked sweet potato with them but I nuked it. It had real butter and cinnamon on it.
Italian wedding soup, which I think is what I made the last time I posted in this thread. It was good so I decided to make it again. I think my second attempt came out better
