Whew! We must not have been posting fast enough! Here's one. Two, actually... just to be safe. :-D

Fig, ricotta and honey tartine for breakfast

and lox for lunch. This was a smoked trout rather than salmon. First time I've tried it. It's good… not as fatty as salmon. I prefer the salmon.

Dinner tonight. Just a frozen pizza, but I cut up the extra tomatoes and put the dang thing in the oven, so I say it counts! It's a thin crust pizza with onions, bell peppers, artichoke hearts, tomatoes, mushrooms and baby spinach. It was pretty good.

another big omelette with red onion, parmesan, and marble cheese.

last night I made sole, baked with olive oil, basil, tomato, and red onion. i also made some pasta with roasted butternut squash and red onion, but it wasn't great. I tried brown rice pasta and I didn't really like it.

i had a couple of bratwurst left in the fridge that needed cooked up. sliced them and microwaved them with half a bag of frozen vegetable polenta.
i don't know if 321 means three hundred and 21 seconds, or three minuetes and 21 seconds,
but at any rate that's what how long i typically zap anything that looks like the right amount of mass
for one meal for me, unless it insists on less, or still needs more.

i know that's not exactly gormet feness, but it tasted good and i was hungry.

i like the microwave, because while i live with others who share common interests,
we're not a household that pools everything.

so i feel kind of wierd cooking in front of anyone else,
so this tends to limit me from doing more creative things in the kitchen
that i might were i able to know with greater certainty
when i would be alone to do so.

so i do things alone, because that's how i am and what i like to do.
so i get to doing other things and don't think as much about making anything more involved to eat.

this is not really a problem, as i spend most of my time doing other creative things
usually on the computer, when i'm not just on the net.
