I'm feeling the love already! I had duck puff pasty pie, with sliced cucumbers. It was delicious. (I didn't make it.) And a cornet à la crème for dessert. It was all a great treat!
Love your avatar. ♫ Orison the red-nosed squirrel… ♪ I've never eaten the filling alone. Only in pie or in soup. I'll have to give it a try. I made scrambled eggs with kobassa and mango slices this morning.
someone give me the idea to eat pie filling as is, its not any different than cooked in the pie. I put on toast with yogurt topping, - I also had my daily scrambled egg with that. but I like my hippie toast pie . I must get myself a mango slicer..
Hello, nomnomnom . Hm, I have just enough eggs and flour and stuff to make a marble cake. That is my plan for today's afternoon . Regards Gyro
Ahah I wish! I'd like to make my own pasta, they taste much better fresh than the dry ones we can buy at the grocery store. (The only pasta I make now are gnocchi, it's so easy it's almost a shame to buy them ready-made.)
Hand Just roll out the dough, cut it up and roll them macaronis! I've made linguini by hand but have never tried this. MACCARRUNI – Mamma Stag’s Hand Made Sicilian Macaroni, No Machine Required
My grandmother used to make them that way! The linguine type. And put it in her homemade chicken soup. I've made them a few times. I'm back to omelettes. Well, for a day anyway. Dill omelette with more kobassa and mango.
chicken breasts fried in bacon grease... my coleslaw tasted like dirt so I had to bail on that.... so I went with the wilted lettuce, vinegar and bacon (german salad) .. spinach and tater tots..
Speaking of gnocchi, that was today's dinner! With a tomato primavera sauce, and a buttered baguette.
