Today, I was going to go out, but it seems that plans have been changed, - so,- Hoovering, windows open (after the rain the cool air refreshes) - however the chill also sees the knee senses and suffers arthritic pain .... ah well

Drove 425 miles to the bank to deal with getting too old to have money saved in a 401K and went to 4 welding supply stores looking for a rose bud for my torch, finally learned it's too damn old too.

Ran just over 4 miles today. Givin the high heat with the real feel of 105. I kept it short yesterday and today. I usually do 6 to 8 miles a day.

Finally started up my 4-wheeler this summer and took it for about a 15 mile ride down some trails through the woods north of me. Just haven't needed it but it was parked infant of my wood planner I want to use.
Think I'll mow off the getting old clover in then lawn so it can recoup before fall.

woke up from my nap and the power was off in the complex and for several blocks around.
it was back on about an hour later. this was just past the hottest part of the day.
no mention on the news and no advanced warning.

previous incidents involved a not very professional electrician, and another time, a snake shorting out one of those big capacitors.

probably won't every hear the cause of this one. we used to have wild blackberries all over everyplace when i lived in colfax california fifty years ago.

I used to bush hog years ago. It was one of my favorite tasks. No one around to bother you. You just cut and cut all day. Yeah it was a task but it was more enjoyable then a lot of other tasks.Used a John Deere with a 60 inch deck. And a bucket on the front. It allowed you to knock the taller stuff down before driving over it to cut most times instead of backing into it with the deck up to cut. You just brought back a whole lot of memories Like a down hollow tree with a skunk nest inside of it , that I caught with the bucket.
