Boots??? I don't even own a coat...... the heaviest i have is a jean jacket!

just cleaned up some of the left over mess, put things up, talked to friends here ........... now making dinner

 

Aren't these two things inclusive

 

Well in my house, its a nice day when my husband is high, otherwise it can be unbearable

 

i slept, i ate, i made more animation, in between all that i did a lot of imagining which is where everything else and my enjoying of it comes from.
watched snow come down, didn't go out in it.

tomorrow i expect, plan, and hope, to do much the same.

 

I want to see it snowing

 

It is illegal to eat pumpkin pie without cool whip! We were out of coffee creamer... Improvised with caramel syrup and powdered creamer

 

Made a turkey curry from scratch, sat and ate it !!!

 

Worked and ran. Now just chilling out.

My brother who had come to visit me for the holidays leaves tomorrow, so I invited him to my favorite restaurant and he invited me to the movies.

naw naw, when it comes to pies, other then mean pies, pumpkin is the good kind.
guilty as charged though, it really does need the accompaniment of whipped cream of some sort.

my only excuse is the only place that had one small enough for me to consume by myself without rotting on me before i could finish it,
didn't have anything i could make whipping cream out of, or thought and realized at the time that it might.

well that's been a week now and i've almost forgotten the taste of is.

and most likely before the next time i post to this thread i will have been to the store again,
but that's one for the tomorrow thread.

 

Got home from a 2 week trip to my sons for Christmas. Amazing how 5 inches of snow am shut down an airport the size of Seattle.

 

You should be so lucky - just one inch of snow over here causes utter chaos !!!

 

made it to the store again, this time and its already yesterday that i did.
got some store brand prewhipped cream in the tub, like cool whip.
no pie though. put in on rasberries and on chocklet cake.
different store, one i hadn't been to in a long time.

on the news they're all whinning about airports and interstate freeways being shut down.
never once did they mention that amtrack is still running just fine.

granted we only have one train a day, and they don't stop nor even go to nearly enough places,
but that's mostly because the dominant culture has become too dumbed down to realize the potential value of what could be.

 

Got my '64garden tractor with snow blower out and worked at clearing out 2 weeks worth of snow fall, about a foot.

 

nothing worth noting--- was going to resin but didn't ......... but tomorrow!!! i'm hoping to feel better
for now just ordering pizza and daughter made cake to celebrate our 24th wedding anniversary
