Unfortunately a lot of sushi has the less desirables. You have to hunt for the ones without.

I had Kalamata olives yesterday and will have a few more today. I love them so much. Such a treat!

 

I attempted to make Hollandaise sauce today for the first time, it actually turned out very well. Used it on my asperagus eggs benedict. yum yum!

 

I had another cheesecake bite from work! These are turning into an addiction for me. This one was covered in chopped apple and whipped cream. They really are the perfect sized dessert. They take 3-4 bites to eat but you feel perfectly full after. Obviously homemade cheesecake is better, but these are still really good.

Took my girlfriend out to breakfast this morning to a small restaurant near our workplace that serves southern/soul food. I got the chicken and waffles with a side of bacon. It was so fucking good.

 

I had the most delicious millefeuille I've ever eaten today. This one had both custard and whipped cream filling. The pastry was so light and flaky, and the icing on top wasn't too sweet like millefeuilles tend to be.

Last night we ordered burritos for delivery since I hurt my ankle at work and couldn't go anywhere. I got a steak burrito and a huge thing of fries covered in beef, cheese, salsa and sour cream. It was seriously way too much food, but that's what I want when I'm grumpy lol.

 

I had a breakfast burrito with Steak, Eggs, Potatoes and Cheese from a taco truck at the flea market.

Went out with my girlfriend tonight to the Hose 22 Firehouse and had the best macaroni and cheese in my life. This was served Buffalo style with big chucks of chicken and Frank's Red Hot. The serving was HUGE and was easily over 2,500 calories and about three days worth of carbs. T'was good, though. I had three beers while at the restaurant -- two Bell's Two Hearted Ales and one Rogue Dead Guy Ale. Needless to say I was STUFFED after leaving the place.

 

Omg that mac and cheese.... I'm drooling... and desperately trying to come up with a recipe in my head!

I ate a big vegetarian pizza in my favorite restaurant that I’ve never tried before… it was very delicious and had broccoli, paprika, tomato, corn and mushrooms on it They also make a really delicious tiramisu and of course, I ate one
