Hey relayer..that's crazy! I had hummus & pita with celery and carrots w/ a side of fruit last night. It was SO good.
I had red pepper houmus and celery and carrot sticks. I'm doing this stupid detox thing where I won't be eating any dairy products or wheat or meat for the next.. well for however long I can stand it. Right now it seems hopeless coz I'm so damn hungry. :tongue: But it's only day 1, it'll get easier (I hope!).
I got home kinda late and eally tired so I had a mocha with extra foam and cinnamon on top so I could drive without falling asleep and then bread with those laughing cow cheese triangle thingies, an apple and a few raw almonds
Tonight I'm having a risotto kind of thing with mushrooms, red bell peppers, onion, butter beans and chilis.
i don't remember. too long ago. but i had a donut amd tater tots for dinner tonight. mmm. i can feel my arteries clogging already.
tonight I had a smoothie with plain goat yogurt, raw chocolate, a banana,protein powder, sprulina, powdered greens, bee pollen and coconut spread, and then I had a piece of wheat berry toast with coconut spread and honey. The santa anas give me hella bad allergies hence all the honey and bee pollen. I can't take benedryl...for some reason it knocks me out for days.
this night i woke up to find my wife had made herself barfaloni and sleeze. i don't know how she can stand that crap. but we are once again out of meat and shrooms, other then i think there's still one can of tuna and one of shrimp and several cans each of hash, stew and pork chilli. there's also some bacon ends in the fridge. there's pasta. there's rice. there's my bullion and lemon. even a nearly full jar of p-nut butter and about a quarter of a box left of generic raisen bran. ok so it's not like i'm gonna starve, just not much of what i like to make quick and easy. other then noodles and broth. but that damd cheddar sauce powder that comes with those smak and sleze boxes she always gets, ach, barf. actualy it's not entirely retched if used to make potatoes ugly and rotten instead. i just wish she had that much immagination. =^^= .../\...
well I'll say what I had on my tray: veggie burger w/ fries veggie pizza tomato and fennel seed pasta.. I ate the pasta, most of my sandwhich and 2-3 fries..the pizza was untouched aside from nibbling some mushrooms off of it..i eat too much
my quick caccatori this time, except i had to put it back in the oven twice. dang them chickies took for ever to cook. and at 410 at that. i thought for sure an hour would be enough, but no way. well they were really thick thighs with a LOT of meat on them. recipie for quick caccatori: place chicken parts, preferably legs or thais, in a (2-3" deep) pyrex dish open one can of stewed tomatoes, dump on top open one can of tomatoe sauce, dump on top of that place in oven, (on foiled sheet of course, to catch any boil over drips just in case) you know, oven hot, let em bake for an hour or so. when the're done the're done. i haveta cut em open to see if the meat is no longer pink cause i don't have a decent, or any, meat thermomiter. =^^= .../\...
