I pretty much expected what it is, I'm cool liek that though

of course there are things that I could not have predicted such as the occasional case of macropesia or extreme dry mouth

it was very different and much much more amazing than i ever thought. i had the impression it was like opium the way they made it out, like people get stoned and get sedated and silly thoughts and dont care about shit. which can be true. but its so much more than that really. like, i never concieved the whole enlightenment state of being, the idea that drugs would allow me to think more thoughts (as opposed to less, as i thought). i had the most intense feelings of awe in my life, and most of it was because of thoughts or sensations that i had, not external things.

    Hah, makes two of us.

I expected light to be a little trippy, but I hadn't expected to be blown away by the beauty of the night like I was. My first sesh was with an older buddy in the middle of the night. We constructed a plastic bottle bong and I had to take the pieces down to the trash in the kitchen when we were done. As soon as I left the bright lights of my room, I was in awe of how sparkly night time could be.

"I expected it to be a bigger deal than it was. The government hypes it up to be this terrible thing, so i figured it would fuck me up more than it did. Then I just realized that being stoned is a good way to be and it's nothing that I had been led to believe."-TopNotchStoner

    Well said, agreed 100%

I expected to be relaxed and stress lifted off my shoulders slightly, making it easier to laugh, not necessarily making things funnier. Like a nicotine high I guess. It was was more intense than I expected, because I had never been intoxicated at all in my life, so I didnt have any idea what an altered consciousness was like. I asked the kids I smoked with if they thought it was laced with pcp.

I thought it was involved intense hallucinations and being completely zonked and out of control for hours...
