What do people have against us?

ya those type of ppl say there for individualism But they never accept anyone differnt than them,,so i dont get it!
but all types of dif ppl can be like that...cause i hear those "preppy" chicks talking bad about the "ghetto" ppl and visa versa..all the labels ..i guess thats why ppl like labels..to satisfy their ego.. If anything i feel some sorrow for them because they are living so far in their ego..if only they could look within!

Those people are too insecure to be themselves like the hippies they try to make fun of. Being a hippie is the healthy alternative to being afraid to be yourself. Don't worry about someone's opinion if they themselves are too insecure to be themselves. They are also (most likely) too insecure to think for themselves, and so it (most likely) isn't even their own opinion!

If others cannot love you for who you are then who are they to judge. And whom would you be to take their unrightful judgments to heart.

Hillary Clinton and Chuck Schumer had an item added into a health bill to fund a Woodstock museum in New York. After some debate, it was removed from the bill. lol

...althought that doesn't necessarily mean that Congress hates hippies. I thought it was funny, though.

I’m not sure where you live, but here in the US it is NOT acceptable to hate gays. Hence the term ‘hate crime’.



As for criminals, I suppose that would be true of the worst types of crimes. But you don’t know who to yell out the window at. And people who hate criminals generally aren’t as motivated by their hate.



Now as for Emos, I’m not sure I’d describe it as hate. More of a point and laugh kinda thing IMO.



In regards to Mormons and Scientologists, even god hates their ass.



Seriously though, if you think about it the only group that you mentioned that it is truly acceptable to hate is hippies. It’s as if PC doesn’t apply when it comes to hippies.

It's acceptable to hate scientologists. Really. It is.

 

I just say stop hating start loving it fells better to love than hate.
Before i became a hippie i was real militarist and i used to hate people then Jimi took mo to the otherside if i may say that.

 

I do live in the US, actually, and it IS acceptable to hate gays. If you can't see that, I don't know how I can even begin to convince you. So how about you go talk to a GLBTQ person who's had complete strangers yell "faggot" or "dyke" at them on the streets. Or go visit with a gay couple who wants to get married, but can't because our government thinks they will destroy hetersexual marriage. Or go ask a GLBTQ person who's been fired from hir job after hir boss found out about hir sexual orientation/gender identity. There IS hate in this country for gays, and it IS acceptable. Hate is not the same thing as a hate crime. By the way, hate crimes legislation does not address the issue of crimes motivated by sexual orientation or gender identity.

And criminals - you're right. No one really hates people who commit crimes such as littering or underage drinking. But when you get up to crimes such as rape and murder, there are thousands of people in this country who talk about how "the bastard deserves to die a slow and painful death," or something as incredibly caring as that.

And God hates Mormons and Scientologists? That's amazing - I always thought that our President was the only one who talked to God. I don't know what God you believe in, or what God is giving you this information, because I was always taught that God loves everybody.

 

Who decided that it's acceptable to hate them? Acceptable for you maybe. I don't dig their organisation neither, but I really don't see why I should hate their members. Please enlighten me.
