the first trial, in which we'd see the 'trailer' of what awaits ...only it'd be too long, until the Day finally comes (it is maktoob)

"But [let them always remember that] if We lengthen a human being’s days, We also cause him to decline in his powers [when he grows old]: will they not, then, use their reason?" [Sura 36:68]

I.e., man should never postpone his exercise of moral choice - for if human beings are superior creatures inasmuch as they have been endowed with the faculty of discernment and a wide measure of free will, let them also remember that "man has been created weak" (4:28) and liable to decline still further in old age, so that the time at his disposal is short

But hast thou ever considered [this]: If We do allow them to enjoy [this life] for some years,[Sura 26:205 ]

Allah gave us life to judge between us see who does good and who does bad

"Every soul shall have a taste of death: And only on the Day of Judgment shall you be paid your full recompense. Only he who is saved far from the Fire and admitted to the Garden will have attained the object (of Life): For the life of this world is but goods and chattels of deception."[Sura 3:185 ]

Say: “[One day,] the angel of death who has been given charge of you will gather you, and then unto your Sustainer you will be brought back.” [Sura 32:11 ]

At the time of your death you will see the Angel of Death. He will come to take your soul, how it does this depends on your character and deeds of your life. If you were good, he provides with wine, if you were bad, he will appear ugly and scary.

After this, your soul will be released from your body. This process once again depends on your deed. If you were bad, it will last long and pain like no pain. If you were good then the pain will be less. The Quran states "Everyone must taste death"

Once the soul has left the soul, you will be there, looking at your own body. You will see the people mourning, you will run to them asking them to help you, but no one can hear a thing. You are all alone.

When you are put into the grave, you will follow your body in there. It is said that you have an option to go or not, but everyone goes in because they cannot stand to be seperated from their body.

Once you are in the grave, the first night in the grave the two angels named Nakir and Munkir . Depending on your deeds, they will apper ugly or beautiful. They will ask you 3 questions,

    "Who is your God?"
    "Who is your Prophet?"
    "what is your religion?"

Even though these answers are clear, most people will be so terrified that they are not able to move their lips to utter the words. When you do not answer, the Angels get angry. They have metal rods in which you get hit by.

From here onwards you recieve your punishment in the grave only if u fail to answer those 3 questiones and then you move on to Barzakh where you will live in peace until the day of Judgement . Barzakh is two, a place similar to a sort of heaven and another similar to a sort of hell. Depending on you who are you will be juedged to enter either one of them. and if he is a hypocrite , he says: 'I heard the people saying something so I said it too, I don't know.' So they say: 'We knew that you (would) say that.' So it is said to he remains in the state of torture until Allaah raises him up from that resting place

The Messenger of Allah (Peace be upon him) said, "Verily the grave is the first stopping place for the Hereafter; so if he is saved therein, then what comes after is easier than it. And if he is not saved therefrom, then that which comes after is harder." [Hasan: At-Tirmidhee, Ibn Maajah, al-Haakim: from 'Uthmaan.]

After this, you will arise from your grave and the day of Judgement will begin. A time where a mother would leave her crying infant baby to save herself.

    then

" On that Day of Dominion will be that of Allah. He will judge between them: so those who believe and work righteous deeds will be in Gardens of Delight." [Sura 22:56 ]

(Such are they from whom We shall accept the best of their deeds and pass by their ill deeds: (They shall be) among the Companions of the Garden: a promise! of truth, which was made to them (in this life).[Sura 46:16]

feel free to ask if u want to know what will happen after that

talk to people that have actually died themselves if you want to get the best understanding of death as possible. People who have died say they experience going into a light thats brighter than the sun but doesnt hurt your eyes and the closer they get to it the more they feel 'oneness' with everything and they are in pure ecstasy and peace, they also feel like they have been there before. some people even report communicating telapathically with the light and the light tells them its not their time to go and they still have duties to fulfill on the earth. what else can that be but God? some claim that its just the brains final hurah but if thats true than why have people that have no electrical activity in their brain and are brain dead have these near death experiences. people that have been in surgery have 'popped' out of their own bodies and when the surgery is over they can recall seeing all the tools the doctors used along with what the doctors were saying, (all while brain dead). I believe we are all on a spiritual journey and we dont go to heaven but we grow to heaven to be at one with God like it was in the beginning, we're just trying to find our way home.

I suppose the first thing that will happen is me shitting my pants...maybe before....maybe during...or maybe after death depending on the circumstances.

or maybe I won't even be wearing pants :leaving:

Hmmm. Have myself thrown from a cliff to be eaten by whatever wants me.
Or into an ocean or on a tall mountain.

After that , I will be in Nirvana hopefully, eternal peace.

Of course no one is sure what happens after death. Plenty of people think they do but I can't say if they are wrong are right.

I pretty much believe the same thing as you. I think that when we die we go to another plane of existence and from there eventually we are reborn into another body here. I don't think our souls immediately are placed into another human shell.

I have issues thinking that I may come back as an ant or a hairless cat or something though like some people believe when they are talking about reincarnation. hmmm...not quite sure how I feel about that one.
