Well, I guess I collect teas I have a whole cupboard full of different teas… I really love drinking it (more than anything else), so friends and family member, are always presenting me with a new sort of tea
These diecasts I got from America last year. The militaria is a photo of a small collection I have in a small inside safe. They are one of my grandfathers sets. WW1 iron cross second class, WW2 iron cross first and second classes, original presentation box. A Panzer corps decoration. The altitude dial on the top of the picture is from a Spitfire they'd shot down. As long as it is wound up it keeps perfect timing still. I never got the full story behind the bayonet though I remember granddaddy telling me it's definitely battle hardened. The grenade, it's real. It'll still blow apparently. Though the bottom is screwed on really really tightly so it will take an effort to blow yourself up. The .308 rounds are for the KAR-98 which I still have locked up in my armory. I don't use it often at all, it has a lot of kick.. The letters are just field letters back to my family. My Luger. My chess set, I have fascinations with chess sets. And I collect these statues. I have Oden, Loki and Thor.
Did you find the Luger difficult to fire. When I was a teen we fired my dad's and it seemed to jump so badly it was not accurate. I have fired revolvers and slide automatics where that jumping was not the case. I think it is that unique hinged slide on the Luger that does it.
It's heavy, and yeah there is some movement. I'm much better with a glock 9mm. The Luger is more an antique of mine now. When we were younger and the family all lived together we often went to the shooting range and were able to use the older WW2 weapons they had there. I've always wanted to get on the end of the MG42.
Family Heirlooms A nice addition to your collection would be a Hitler Night Guard Luger (W/ a Flashlight attachment) used by Hitler’s personal bodyguards Hotwater
