Sure it is, but in order to find it you always have to keep, according to bird_migration's opinion, a resourceful zombie at hand! And that kind of zombie might become quite bothersome as time goes by.
I couldn't agree more. It is at least understandable to an extent when European music remains obscure in the US, although sometimes it seems absolutely weird to me, but when American musicians can produce their albums only with the help of small indie European labels, well, then it completely sucks.
I used to collect blacklight posters. I'd stop at every head shop, spencers, poster store, etc. in any town I was in and buy any I didn't have. I had over 100 at one point. I had been working on it for 6 years until one day I walked into my apt and after a week out of town and found them all stolen. It makes me sad to this day. I flipped out to say the least. The only other thing I still collect are wrestling DVDs and Blu-rays. I've been watching wrestling since I was 6 and the fake pseudo sport has always held a place in my heart. I can still sit and watch it today and put up with it even when it sucks. Look at my cat... he's thinking "my owner is such a dork" That's not even all of them. I've collected almost everyone since about 2001. Just one of those things I never grew out of.
i keep thinking of more stuff i collect unique business cards (high quality, beautiful, and/or interesting or any combination) cardboard drink coasters from bars and restaurants
I recently discovered that I collect video games, as part of my hugely cumbersome addiction to obsolete electronics of all types.
